Do you want i send you my MGM 16018?????? I know they have twice the FET on it, and when it catch fire, the twice of FET make a twice bigger fire, believe me.
MGM are twice the price of the MMM and for any reason mine catch fire.

So don't try to tell me that MGM worth the $$$ over any other controler. SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

quark 125b on 5s with an ubec and rc-monster heatsink. Less than 3 hours of use and was driven for 90 seconds when this happened..... no esc is safe....

Just get a MM with external BEC and fan until they iron out the issues with the MMM.

That is my backup and has never let me down. not as smooth as my MMM at slow speeds, but gets the job done if needed.

Yeah but on the same note,my Quark 80 is doing fine, and my mm is sitting there waiting for replacement, has been for a month, and they aren't supposed to have more till next week.Every controller can fail,no doubt.

I have killed my forth too. I am kicking my self for not running the forth one with an external bec. I was going to but I got lazy and the result was another dead esc. I think the MMM with an external bec is the way to go and if I get my fifth before CC stop shipping them I'll find out pretty quickly if it's a reliable setup.

I have to say castle customer service is awesome.

This is a ridiculous statement.

dear mr. what's nitro: I am not looking for sympathy from you, or anyone; just the simplest thing possible here: a freakin' WORKING remote control monster truck that cost me well north of $1000!! THAT'S ALL!!! My post was not aimed at you, nor was it a personal attack at you, or anyone for that matter. It was me speaking (typing) out of LOTS of frustration that has been brewing over the past SEVERAL MONTHS. If you can't handle my point of view, then read another post. But honestly, you should do yourself a favor, and question/ consider where I'm coming from before you go off the deep end. It will get you further in life, as well as these silly internet discussion forums (I like this forum).

OMG. Are you serious? You think I was taking it personally? Tell me again who has to get their head checked... I was bashing you based on the fact that you were casting out the entire hobby JUST BECAUSE you had sh*t luck with an ESC! That's it! I'm sure others got the same message from your post but weren't bothered by it enough to comment. I was, and so I did. I think it's extremely rediculous that you could say that electric RC sucks based on a single component. Electronics aren't as "mysterious" as you think. They have very specific reasons for failiing. Just like a nitro engine. Don't bash electric just because you aren't able to diagnose why it breaks. That makes no sense either.
