I ended up with 4 of them and his was broken which meant that he couldn't make the bash - I can only race 4 cars at the bash and one is a CRT.5 which can run easily on a MM.

It seemed the decent thing to do... When it comes back it will go into my GTP2 with a 1512 1Y...

Looking forward to this get together! Waiting on some diff fluid to come for my crt.5 so I can tear that apart, clean it and put some 10k in the center diff cause all it does right now is tear the front tires to shreds! Also got a 58t spur coming for the Revo, that will give me tons of gearing options once I try the track (20+25t pinions - 54,56,58,62,68t spurs). Really wish I had the dough for a set of 3s packs before the bash to really wake up my Revo and lower the current draw on it. Unless both trucks suddenly go up in flames before the bash I'll be there!!!

Set me start off saying how inconsistent my parents are...VERY!

Here is the conversation from WEEKS AGO:

Me: Hey dad did you see the flyer i left in your room?

Dad: Maybe, is this a track thing or just a get-together

Me: Its a race, at a track in New York

Dad: where at in New York?

Me: southern tip, not far from the border

Dad: have you ran that thing anywhere but the front yard and up the street?

Me: No (here comes the denial-i thought)

Dad: well you need to have some sort of shakedown- no sense traveling up to new york just to have the truck fall apart, anywhere local you could try it?

So then today-actually 10 minutes ago my mom walks in (day before they leave for a cruise) and asks what im planning to do tommorow, i say that im going to test my truck, and she starts shaking her head no.. Ok here is my situation. My Aveox's shaft came loose, my 6 pole's magnet took a dump and the Mega I bought might not be here on time. I also bought a 1515/2Y, but it's the finned version and will have to see when it gets here so I can dremel some of the fins out to make it fit. I have another 6 pole wonder, but it's only 60mm long and I'm not sure if it'll be that great. Let's see what happens in the next few days.

Got the 36-60 6 pole in the truck now. Going out on Monday to test it out.

Yes, but with 8S lipos I would like to keep my RPMs bellow 40,000. I'm going as I have a 1515/2Y coming and if everything else fails, Jeff will let me use his motor set to low Kv.

I know. I also came to find out that all the Hacker clones don't really like me, even when they are treated with the most care and not being abused. I'll still be there to try and keep up with all of you. The only problem is that I sold all my tool boxes and all I'm bringing will be a few lipos, one charger, power supply, a few tires, a few tools and 3 vehicles, but only 2 will be running.

The Barn just got a new layout for tomorrow's Round 3 of the NESS...I don't know if the layout will stay the same for the bash but if I were betting I'd say that it will be exactly the same. Here are pix of the layout (Thanks to Steve B for the pix!):

Hard packed or not, get a few BL trucks out there and we'll tear it to shreds!!! Badlands might not be the best tire for racing but thats what I have and that's what I'm going to use, they leave some nice ruts too!

I guess I'll take all my wheels/tires then :lol:.

That rhythm section looks like it will swallow up a few trucks/buggies!
