Edit- Maybe Slash. But its definately a Traxxas product with the Titan motor and Traxxas high current plug. Now I'm thinking Slash. |
|
Cantilever suspension. I like it.

not sure, but it looks like someone else is in the market of making those 17mm hub for these...... too bad the tracks dont allow anything but stock tires.
i personally dont like the chassis, jmo it lets too much crap get thrown up into the electronics. whats that 1/10th 4wd buggy? |
It's a Slash but does anyone know any info on the chassis?
|
I do like the chassis, it looks like it has an adjustable battery bay. Would be nice to go from 6 cells to 7 cells, then switch to off sized LiPos.

is it that tenth tech predator?
yes i knew it was slash stuff, i was saying i didnt know who was doing the parts. |
The buggy is a Tenth Tech design, not sure if its a predator or not.
On the mini slayer and revo, I like the core racers, but am a MT guy at heart. So i'll be getting a mini revo, E-revo Brushless for racing and the Summit for pure snot beating bashing. And yes it will be brushless, Though i'm thinking my 2250/10t lehner and quark 125 w/5s+ lipo's will get the nod On the mini revo, I see it as a VXL 3500 setup with parallel batteries, Though i got an XL 1200 lehner and a quark 80 that might get in there. :whip: wow 3000 posts |
I would love to smash into a mlst at 40mph with the brushless mini revo... Die mlst, die!!! I hate those things... Hopefully the diffs in the mini revo wil be decent...

So any word on what the "other" 2 are? Was it the Minis? or something else.

I like the design of the lst, but it is too complex to be scaled down to the mlst size. Nice idea, but poor execution. I have had good success with a rc18t, and I am sure the xray mini is very nice too. |
My first RC (bought earlier this year) was a mlst2 (the baja one). I've replaced multiple steering servo's (finally put in some metal geared ones), front, rear & center diffs, multiple spurs, and various other bits and pieces. My sons have fun with it, but it has not proven to be the most solid of trucks, for sure.
My e-revo.... haven't broken anything... yet! The mini brushless revo has my interest as a solid mlst2 replacement. - Tony |

I do like the look of the mini revo, but find that trying to scale down a design sometimes causes problems. A small diff in a thin plastic case will have mesh issues, unless the diff and case are made of very high quality material, which is usually not the case... I hope the mini revo is good, but I will wait untill the crazy bastards here get a chance to thrash some. Until one can do 60mph will a neu 1515 I will not be buying it... |

With the MLST2, now that I've upgraded it a lot, it is a solid little truck. Just took a lot of $$ to get it there. - Tony |

SO are the mini slayer and revo the new vehicles or what??????
|
They should have it up on their website soon. For sure its a 1/16th mini revo and another 1/16th truck.

I have a losi mini late model. It's pretty much stock cause that is the only class to race them in. I went through 3 sets of diff gears before I bought a ball diff for it, the motors are JUNK, and I wish they used a captured shock instead of putting it on a ball mount. My RC18T that I sold was 10 times more reliable, until I stuck a 3s Lipo in it and messed up the diffs. I have also bought one of the 1/10 sliders in hopes of a class springing up for them for me to race in over the winter. Only reason I own a Losi is for racing cause it's a cheap and fun class to race in. Now it's time for me to go work on it and see if I can get it ready for tomorrow.
|
The buggy is a Team Extreme. They bought Ttech... IDK whats up with the tekin in it? Just showing it off
The mini revo is mini, as in 380 size motor, and 3A cells. So im guessing a NEU 11 series? LOL, with some hypersion lipos or something that you would run in a MLST. Haha I cant wait to get my Mini revo. There saying 09, retail price is 250, and its BL from the box with the new mini VXL system. The slayer mini is brushed, retail of 180-200. I will post prices when HRP updates with the actual prices. So darnit traxxas! post the cars up!!! |
|
Wouldn't mind seeing a photo of the 1/16 E-REVO next to a CRT.5
|

As for the mini-e-revo, it looks cool, but i think I'll stick to my detta st. I don't have a single complaint with that truck (except for the ugly body). |
