did you change the picture? cause when i looked the pic was around the other way then i pressed refresh and it changed lol

coolhandcountry 01.11.2006 10:34 PM

How far are the pivot balls screwed in? If you screw them in about 2-3 more turns apiece should be plenty.

mmdooley 01.11.2006 10:36 PM

I must have something wrong. Did you use the back center dogbone on the front of the flm setup??

coolhandcountry 01.11.2006 10:40 PM

The back and front are not different unless it is extended. What kind of cvds are you using to? RD logics are shorter than others.

mmdooley 01.11.2006 10:54 PM

Coolhand I dont know what's going on i could not pull up your post after refreshing 5 or6 times.??? My center drive shafts that come from the trans. and goes to the rearends. one is longer than the other "on the stock setup". I used the longest one to go from my trans. to the frontend and the one that came with the chasiss goes from the trans. to the rear.

Basketti 01.11.2006 11:44 PM

dooley, have you screwed your piviot balls in all the way?

mmdooley 01.12.2006 12:07 AM

Yes, removed lock nuts & screwed pivot balls all the way in.

Will the cvds fall out at high speed being that close to the edge of the cup? If I buy more cvds, aren't they all the same length for a wide maxx?

Basketti 01.12.2006 12:15 AM

I got my mip cvds off ebay, for $15 a set. theres some on there where you can buy two sets for $45

squeeforever 01.12.2006 12:20 AM

the rdl cvds are shorter than the rest for some reason. mips, ue's ect. should fit.

mmdooley 01.12.2006 12:20 AM

Yea, but won't they be the same length as the ones I got??

mmdooley 01.12.2006 12:22 AM

Thanks Squee you posted while I was typing. Can anyone measure one of thier cvd's so I can compare to mine? So I will know I have rdl's.

squeeforever 01.12.2006 09:08 AM

well shiny with a boot is rdl.

coolhandcountry 01.12.2006 09:41 AM

160mm from end of axle to end of axle for rd logics.
