I would use the novak heatsink. Its about 13 bucks and does wonders for temps. In winter I havent seen the feigaos heat up but the smooth can design just doesnt do a good job of disapating heat. . Generally running any vehicle in temps over 100 degrees is just not a good idea, but anything under that and I have been ok with my feigaos. I dont know if the RCM clamp will work as there is no extra space in front or behind the motor if you are going to run a 9L.

Should I be using the stock esavvy mount? And what gear ratio did you use?

Hi, need ideas on how to improve the strength of the e-savage drive train before I go stuffing more power into it. The telescopic driveshafts snap with stock motors. How do you guys fix that? I'd like mine to go a bit faster but the weakness of those driveshafts is a prob. I have seen some canadian company doing custom CVD's but that's a real expensive upgrade. Any cheaper solutions out there?
