when's Mike getting stock?

Electric Eel 12.08.2008 07:11 AM

It seems everyone who had stock has sold out! Congratulations Castle, you seem to have a winner here. Combined with the new BL Revo and the Savage Flux you are probably one of the few companies making a profit in this economy. I did my part by buying 2 combos. I told the wife we had to do our part for economic recovery.

The 2200 is a slight bit more efficient than the 2650, it is a longer winding and that makes a small difference. Nothing that you'll really be able to measure as yielding longer runs.

The 2650 is intended for up to 4S. The main ways to increase run time are to

1. Go slower -- either through lower gearing, lower KV or lower voltage -- fewer cells.
2. Get bigger capacity cells.

Either of these motors will be a huge increase in what you are used to.

Hope this helps.

Lee

Even though I´m running a Neu 1515 1Y at the moment?

Great job, but do not miss CC's costs of the V1+V2 support. (: But i hope for the future, too.

Yeah, that sounds like a good excuse to get another rig, it will help the economy. I wonder if my wife will buy that?

I use the term "buy" loosely because you'd more be giving them your money in return for nothing than actually buying anything.

In return for 300USD of my money, they given me lies, and no prospect of ever seeing my heard earned cash again.

If you're reading this B-P-P..give me what I bought or give me my money back.

I have been reading this site for months and finally signed up for an account the other day just so I could say the same thing. I ordered mine in July since it was about the only place that let you pre-order. Talked to them on Dec 2 to see what is up, was told to go away, new owner, wont honor anything sold before Nov 24. $900 gone (ordered 3 combo's). As far as I am concerned the new owner and the old owner are not worth dealing with. I already missed the winter racing season up here waiting for the combo to show up, I will be lucky to be able to save up enough $$$ to afford another one in time for spring.

another minus for bpp. takes about a month to reply to any emails, each time is either some excuse, or saying that he has sent it, or saying that he didnt really send it last time, but he will this week. a mamba max and two mmm combos ordered in july.

not all bad things i guess, he sent the two mmm controllers seperately. latest communications said the max and the 2200 are on their way. I've heard it about 10 times already though, so im not totally convinced.

he is definitely one of the shadiest people I have ever had the DISpleasure of dealing with.
Hopefully we can all get our money back or the things that we paid for.

I had great service everytime I bought something there until my last purchase there (will be my last too).

Anyways I ended up getting my money back after I filed a claim with Paypal. Funny how he never answered emails until the day I filed a claim.

Dont be so hasty :)...im sure we'll sort things out. Troy wont get away with this.

rotary rocket 12.10.2008 01:14 AM

Mike,

When will you be getting some of these combos in? I want to support RC-Monster.

If I go with the 2200 but run it on 4S (1/8 buggy) what sort of performance can I expect from this combo? I currently run the buggy on an 8XL w/4s.

Have you tried emailing them lately? You know ownership has changed, right?
Just got an email from Troy yesterday for an email I sent him theday before.
There may be hope yet if BPP has any of these still in-stock.
If they don't, guess who's getting my bizznaz? Monster Mike!
:)

If you ordered a Mamba Monster from Troy and have not already done so, please email me at orders@b-p-p.com with your NAME, SHIPPING ADDRESS, ORDER NUMBER, ORDER DATE, ITEM(S) YOU ORDERED, PAYMENT METHOD and I will make sure it is on Troy's final list that he is supposed to give to me tonight.

Savage03 12.15.2008 02:56 PM

So just to clarify and out of curiosity is Troy leaving the company? Sad had many years of dealings with him but I cant get a email replied to to save my life.

Yes, Troy has indeed left the company. I bought the company and am trying to clean up the mess he left. I answer emails quickly and I am sure you will be pleased with our new service.

I hate to say but I am glad to hear this. I just dont know what happened.

rotary rocket 12.22.2008 02:30 PM

No one seems to have the combos in stock. Is there a "second" wave that will ship out soon?

There are at least 2 online retailers with them in stock right now.

rotary rocket 12.22.2008 02:39 PM

Well...but I wouldn't be supporting Monster Mike.

Then why did you say that "no one" has them in stock, rather than saying Mike still doesn't have them in stock yet?

rotary rocket 12.22.2008 03:12 PM

Don't get me wrong, I still couldn't find anyone that has them for sale...

Who actually does have them for sale?

rotary rocket 12.23.2008 12:52 PM

Monster Mike got them in...just ordered a 2200 combo. I'm happy.:intello:

I wonder when the 2650 combo will be released?

rustyj 12.23.2008 01:30 PM

I second that, support Mike, and get a new toy. I've been checking all morning for when they would be in stock.
