If you're interested, I'm about to part out my e-maxxes. Among the list of goodies:

-UE CVDs
-UE Diffs
-Ultramaxx Tranny (complete)
-BKWarrior 9918
-Fiegao 10L

There's tons more, including complete trucks and high powered servos.

Actually, I think I'll just make a new thread.

Sneeck 12.07.2005 01:58 AM

That ebay emaxx is almost simular to mine for more than half the price. I've lost 3,5k in euro's on my machine, including brushless system and all electronical stuff.(not the mention the custom chassis proto's).

So in other word's, you'd be better buying that than buying single part's. Saveing yourself some money you can instantly drop a bl system in there.

captain harlock 12.07.2005 10:42 AM

That what I was thinking about, but I think I'll find a better substitution with Mike's help.

It's a nice truck, but I don't think you need all that titanium! You could also sell the stock titans and EVX for $100 or so..
thats me that bids the 1k dollars he he he I cant go anymore.

captain harlock 12.09.2005 08:04 AM

Now its worth 16?? dollars which makes it even more costy.

Sneeck 12.09.2005 01:26 PM

Hell yeah it does. Like I said, I lost around 2500 euro's to get mine into an all alum state, excluding electronic's. So yes, it is worth it. In my eye's it is anyhow.

jocktheglide 12.09.2005 01:42 PM

well worth it I bet he has it set for 1500 reserve and thats still a deal.

captain harlock 12.09.2005 02:15 PM

So, shall I go for it?

Sneeck 12.09.2005 02:27 PM

Do it allready! Before someone else take's your ride!

I've always been weary of Ebay sellers, at least you can feel like your not going to be ****ed around. I am sure you'd like to steel it. However there are somethings that you have to BUY. Normally I'd say wait and see let the seller feel some pain. I think,in this case, the seller knows what he has and what its fair market value is. He is already taking a beating from the retail price and I sincerely doubt the price will get any better.

Now is your chance. Pull the trigger.

captain harlock 12.09.2005 05:41 PM

One of my friends offered me his super hopped up t-maxx ( which costed him over 7k including a .27 engine from Novarossi that is worth over 1100 dollars) for only 900 dollars, but the problem is that he damaged the screws used to hold in the steering knuckles of the front and rear arms. Either than that its okay as far as I've heared and he says that he has a special Maxx body made exclusively for him for around 299 dollars?!!! I have to check it out first and then ( if I like it) I'll take it and convert it to brushless using either G-maxx or FLM extended chassis. I hope its still in good shape, though. Everything is either Aluminum or Titanium except for the receiver or servo covers.

kulangflow 12.09.2005 06:09 PM

I can't even fathom how $7K was put into one truck. I've spent thousands myself, but $7K?!

Is everything gold plated or ecrusted with diamonds? I'd love to see a truck that cost that much. (Actually, I'd love to have enough money to justify that much spent on one truck.) ;)

Serum 12.10.2005 03:52 AM

If these screws are torn, that tells something about the owner too..

7K? he did include the 1000 gallon of fuell too?

captain harlock 12.10.2005 05:53 AM

Who knows, but I'm sure that when I got to my local club I saw my friends were gathering around something and when I got to it, it was that silver shiny t-maxx which I'd never seen anything like it befor. I asked them what is it all about and they told me that this t-maxx is worth $7k or more. I could not believe it, but I do remember that some of you said that an e-maxx would cost over 5k to fully hop it up.

this guy selling this emaxx is actually a good guy i dealt with him before and he has a major shop in jersey and online shop also. He is only selling this (dont quote) because of a business hardship with the supermaxx owner no he wont carry his products and same with stormerhobbies.com wont carry supermaxx products either they have lots of left overs though of parts.

supermaxx 12.10.2005 09:00 AM

Yes hobbyshopnj

good guys, I also bought things from them!

captain harlock 12.10.2005 12:29 PM

I think I made a mistake about the t-maxx being priced for over 7000 dollars. Its actually 5989 dollars or around it, but still, its really pricy and the current price ($900) is incredibly good for a high priced machine.

Sneeck 12.10.2005 05:07 PM

Yeah but is it ue or something else? Like fastlane, integy, gpm etc. Cost doesn't say anything about quality.

If your going to buy an all alum truck, make sure it's ue. That's the best stuff you can get for the money.

Can you post a picture of that truck?

jocktheglide 12.10.2005 05:30 PM

quality is only as good as its customer service I say! I can tell you I have the best products, but once you buy from me I dont care ha ha ha....

Serum 12.10.2005 05:41 PM

Reminds me of a story about schulze..... (quality/service story.. )

Nothing wrong with UE though, a very serious producer of topnotch stuff..

captain harlock 12.10.2005 06:28 PM

I heared names of companies that I've never known before, like feroni-veroni( something like that) and ceramic bearings from acer racing ( I know that one very well and I hate the way they served me) as well as Ti screw kit from another company and blah,blah,blah....the bad thing is, however, the truck weighs around 13KG (that's what some of my friends said, though I cant believe it) its almost equal to 90+ lb?????!!!!! Well as some says " seeing is believing" only when I get a hold of it I can tell you more. Wish me luck.

Serum 12.10.2005 06:47 PM

13kg is about 28 lbs..

captain harlock 12.11.2005 05:32 AM

Well, do you find it heavy for a brushless to handle it? Sorry for the miscalculations, BTW.

Serum 12.11.2005 05:44 AM

13kg, that is allmost imposible, unless it's a 1/4th scale. (my heavy aluminium savage weights about 15 lbs with 16 cells rtr.

it can be pushed around with brushless though, it just takes a little bigger motor. :p

Sneeck 12.11.2005 06:01 AM

Ti screw kit. There you have it. That's asking for stripped screw's.

13 kilo?! That's a instant no-no. I'll love to see some pictures cause I find it hard to believe. Even if you throw a 30 serie's bl motor in it, it will not be pretty to drive. Let alone how many part's your going to wear out. No i'm pretty sure you'll be better off with that supermaxx.

captain harlock 12.11.2005 09:48 AM

I'll go to him and I'll check it out anyway. I've spoken to Mike about my project and we're progressing just fine.

Candyman2 12.11.2005 11:45 AM

its worth $1000 but thats it! if it had VBS or if it was brushless then it'd be worth more. Even breaking it up and selling it off you'd have trouble getting more than 1000 - 1200

chassis: 250
bulkheads: 80
diff cases: 60
skids: 80
wheels: 100
cvds: 90
tranny: 60-100
motor/esc: 90
body: 70
im probably missing a lot, but thats the bulk of it and good guess may I say.

captain harlock 12.11.2005 04:44 PM

Either way I cant get it meanwhile, since it is only going to be shipped to canada and I do have enough money for it, but not for alot of other things IT will need. About that highly priced T-Maxx: its a SuperMaxx, actually around 3-5 Kilos in weight and the guy is asking for 1100 dollars to sell it away, however, I would like to get the good stuff from Mike and from him I'll get it. I just found a good old e-maxx for only 109 dollars from Dubai and I thought about buying it and work on it with the help of the members of this forum.

sly118 12.14.2005 07:41 AM

sold for $1800 .. i reckon its it rich .. its only worth $1000

$1800 could of almost built a new one from UE

captain harlock 12.14.2005 09:25 AM

Well, bye bye UE maxx.

standard_63 12.14.2005 10:49 AM

Wow! $1800!! Yeah, I agree -- I think for that much you could build your own very nice truck.

captain harlock 12.14.2005 11:38 AM

Will a $2000 give me a top rated aluminum e-maxx?

Sneeck 12.14.2005 12:02 PM

If you chooise the part's right, yes.
