The slipperential is getting about as legendary as the MMM before it launched. :oh:

I'm not having a go at you or anyone but the shelf queen comment reminds me about a comment a guy made when I took the savage to the track for the first time. He said "That's a shelf queen, it belongs on a shelf not on a race track". I was so offended even though I'm sure he ment it in a good way. Normally a savage shelf queen is something that has been blinged up with so much crap it's useless.

Not to worry guys.

Not to worry guys. MonsterMike/RCM is a man of his word. You have to understand that these things take time and RCM has to run business the right way or lose money like some others we can mention. There has been a lot of time and money spent on the development of the slipperential and we shall see it when Mike is ready. Design, prototype, testing, parts manufacturing, production, patent paperwork, and who knows what else. Its not like baking a cake. It will be a mad rush to get one once they are here, but you can be assured that it will be worth the wait. As for the Maxx center diff he is working on those as well. Mike said that he will try to have some made and out to us soon after New Year. All good things come to those who wait. Whoooosaaahhh. Breeeeathhhh. Inhale, and exhale sloooowwwllllyyyy. 2009 is going to be a GOOD year for sure. Have a great day fellas.

Oh I know, and I'll be one of the first to get in line for when it comes out...but you gotta agree with me that it's been quite a wait. Gonna be awesome when it gets here though.

Rivermaxx 01.13.2009 08:54 AM

Wheres the line? Is there a list or somthng? Is there a pre order? lmk guys I am new so I might be missing somthing.

sleebus.jones 01.13.2009 09:10 AM

No line yet, we're waiting to be told where the line forms. :)

Finalizing.

Hey there River don't you worry. Mike is finalizing the legal end of his project in order to avoid anything like what Robin is in the middle of with Billytrucks. Once he has all of his ducks in a row he is just going to post the item up on the RCM store and let people go for it. There is no pre order list of any kind up to now. I think that just makes for more work on his part, so he is avioding that route. He has enough to worry about already. His comment to us was to just keep checking the store for new parts/items. It will be posted there once he is ready to go. I am not sure if he even finalized the price yet, so this is still all up in the air for all of us. I do wonder how many first run Slipperentials he is producing??? I sure hope that it is up to the expectations that have been set with all of the hype. Anyway its kind of like waiting for the birth of a new born. You know it is close, but no one really knows when except for GOD(in this case MonsterMike).

JERRY2KONE 04.02.2009 02:58 AM

Ok mike.

OK Mike the slipperential has been out for a couple of days now with all of the patent stuff behind you, so you have had enough time to take a breath and get your second wind. So how about this center diff/motor mount kit for the Maxx chassis. I would love to put one of these into my RCM extended (3906 style) chassis along with the slipperential. Can you put that together for us? How about some news on this one? Keep up the great work Mike.
