I have the 150 combo and cant seem to fit nicely into LX1 ofna...not much room? Would mounting up high be ok or squeeze in behind batery on left side? I have the RCmonster motor mount. and impakt battery holder.

The 80A and 150A EZ Run's are big big ESCs for sure! I just got my 80A in for my buggy. Brute force engineering approach that's for sure. It's like the size of a White Castle burger! Would be a nice little snack for a Borg! I knew it was going to be big but the size is still surprizing once finally seen in-person.

Well I believe i smoked the motor last night on my 150 combo. Ran the car on testing for about 8 mins and broke the motor mount screws so it turned and locked up the drive links and now the motor wont turn over and is very hot to touch....oh well guess time for a new motor. After further discussion with other racers we think i had it way over geared at 18/44.

Checked the motor and was able to remove the shaft from the motor and without removeing the end of the motor. LOL...got it hot enough i guess. ANyone know a decent replacement and or the same motor where to get?

For a direct replacement, try a feigao/bidproduct/hobbycity 540 XL item, ~1900-2200kv for 4s lipo use.

For a decent replacement, look no further than the Medusa 36-70 or 36-80 motors, same kinda kv range really.

How heavy is the truck/ pics & specs?
