Thomas P 02.05.2009 02:52 PM

Thomas P 02.05.2009 03:01 PM

Nothing a 3mm drill bit won't take care of...

Thomas P 02.05.2009 04:26 PM

Thats true, i have already done it, but is the Nitro verisons "bigger" ?

Thomas P 02.06.2009 03:44 PM

Thomas P 02.07.2009 10:28 AM

Så, nu eren nästan klar...det som saknas är:

Arct1k 02.07.2009 10:48 AM

Looking good - My only worry is the battery and the motor....

With that investment look at a medusa 50mm and some of the Neu packs which are on sale or one of mike's lipos.

Thomas P 02.07.2009 11:03 AM

You are propably right, thoos lipos are real cheap ones...only bought them for test...i will later buy the M50mm motor and som real lipos

Arct1k 02.07.2009 11:07 AM

PS I may not be bling but the rpm bumper is a must unless this is a shelf queen...

Thomas P 02.07.2009 12:18 PM

No problem m8, ia have it just here:yipi:, not mounted it yet..damn this is a big car....(compared to my 1:10 4wd buggy that im used to :D )

IL go for the Medusa 50...what Lipo? 2 o 3s ?

Arct1k 02.07.2009 12:58 PM

Personally I like the 3300 it will run on 2, 3 or 4s...

Thomas P 02.07.2009 02:10 PM

Ok, but maybe im not so good at this, but 3300= 3300rpm/v..how is that gona get any speed ?

BL_RV0 02.07.2009 03:22 PM

Gearing, but I recommend 3s for the 3300 medusa.
Very nice pede BTW.

Thomas P 02.07.2009 03:40 PM

ok, then it will be 11.one volt:lol:

Thomas P 02.07.2009 05:39 PM

How about the 4400 verison..is that to "HOT" for 3s lipo ?

MR-036-050-4800V2-5 4800RPM/V 2.40A 0.004 700W 97A 117A 13V 36 x 50mm 5mm 230g Spec Sheet
MR-036-050-3300V2-5 3300RPM/V 1.35A 0.007 700W 75A 90A 18V 36 x 50mm 5mm 230g Spec Sheet

BUT but ten i need i new pinions..where to buy ? here ? link ?

BL_RV0 02.07.2009 06:19 PM

3300 is a 3s motor, 4800 is a 2s motor. Just order the medusa with the 1/8" shaft option, then you can keep your pinions.

Arct1k 02.07.2009 06:25 PM

3300 does gear up VERY well on 2s too - I run it on my CRT.5

Thomas P 02.08.2009 03:43 AM

Ok, sounds good, and it can be bought here at rc ?

SO there wont be any mistake..is this the one..

BL_RV0 02.13.2009 02:49 AM

Looks great- is there any way you can lower the body?

Thomas P 02.13.2009 03:35 AM

i have lowered the front app 10 mm (was way to high and looked zaggy :))

But i will get the slash posts insted :)

Thomas P 02.13.2009 06:25 AM

Since i tried my MA8000 2s lipo vs my cheap china batts..a Wheeliebar is a must..did see that FLM have some, but i cant wait, and with some dremel-modification of the old stock plastic trannycase, this was the result..feeling real good.

test with my 3s lipo and a 7700 motor..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGoejcV6-vk

Unsullied_Spy 02.18.2009 10:01 PM

3s on a 7700, that's insane! Make sure you watch those temps, both ESC and motor will get really hot lugging that thing around. Sure looks powerful, especially considering the weight of it.

Thomas P 02.19.2009 01:33 AM

Yep il do that Unsullied_Spy im watcing the temp..but i wont be using this on 3s the 7700...a MEdusa is coming soon. a 3300 50mm :)..I was prety suprised about the "powa"..i mean this aint a lightweight car :D....

Thomas P 02.19.2009 07:35 AM

This is MUCH better if ya ask me :D

Definitely trust-worthy. I pre-ordered my 70 and 80mm motors before they came out and I was one of the first to get them when they came out. Good motors from a good company, I've only heard good things about their support and I've E-Mailed them a few times for other matters and they were very helpful.

Arct1k 03.09.2009 10:27 PM

Funny though did you know the medusa's are wound by feigao!
