Did you send the motor with it? That away he could have tested both of them out.
ya, i sent both in
Well, that's good news at least! So, maybe your problem is in your batteries; a partially broken/loose solder connection on the batteries maybe. Would make sense since a bad/loose solder joint can't supply the current the ESC will try to pull.
Man, I really hope I don't blow my controller somehow when it comes in! I think I'll definitely make some type of ESC box to protect it and support the wires (while maintaining adequate cooling of course). Might be worth the effort! |
NOOOO!! when mike tested it out on his g2r, it coggs baaddlY!! ITS GARBAGE!! $200 DOWN THE DRAIN!! WHY!?!?!?!!
Get used to it (lol!). He can send it in to BK, and there's no way that they will charge you full price for it. So, it might only end up being $120 down the drain :).
well, if it costs 120 to fix, then i dont really think its worth it considering i paid 150 for it. Besides its an older 9918. maybe im better off getting a newer 9920.
The 9918 is the same as the 9920, just re-labled
Do you have it or mike right now? I know of something to try on it to see if it fixes it.

It would be nice if some one would fix it. I could use some new capacitors on my 7020.
dont forget shipping! they all teh way in germany, if it costs less tthan $100 including shipping then i'll do it. Mike still has it! If u want, you can drop him an e-mail. You have my permission to fidget with my esc all u want, as long as u think it'll help!
Wanna trade something for my 9918 ( used only 4-5 times)? or just get it from me paying some little money?
