i dont think anyone makes a pinion that size and it would probably have to much power for an e-revo

yup, probably be ok with 1/8th gears and cvds, ect. then again nobody nows unless somebody tries....

Yup that is a Bolido. The motor is designed specifically for a 1/5 scale car.

If i am not mistaken that is a 10 pole motor. So you are limited by the esc more than on the 3060.

The 10 Pole Bolido might be limited as you put it but for a 1/5 scale car you don't really need high RPMs (ask any of the people who run 1/5 scale cars). The Bolido is very unique as plettenberg put it when I asked them to compare with other motors out there.

But the 30XX series were really designed for high output large boats for speed especially for SAW and etc. You can even see two ports or holes to plug in for the water cooling if I am not mistaken.

you are not mistaken

That is not the motor though. That is accually the mount they have on them. But you are right on rpm. With the torque they put out you don't need a hi kv. I myself would like to see a 3060 in a maxx. I am not sure how I am going to go about it yet.

get yourself one and tell us how many sets of diffs it goes through

coolhandcountry 02.06.2006 10:03 PM

I have consider this. I was wondering if the truck could stand such a motor. It would interesting to see.

boss 302 02.06.2006 10:08 PM

it would be interesting to see but i would hate to pay for everything that would be needed to get it to run.
