Hmmm.....no bl's, but there has been the occasional BLT!

My brushless maxx weighs about 7 lbs. Thats with 4s lipo, 8L/ 9920, 1/8 buggy tires, Xtreme Fiberglass chassis, and FLM Combo bulks and shock towers.

stock arms I presume?

B15 02.22.2006 12:56 PM

Not stock for me, but they are traxxas arms. I bought my emaxx back when they had the narrower arm set up, and I updated it when the new version came out.
Heres the complete (I think) list:
MIP CVDS front center and rear
Steel Idlers
Ofna adapters and Ofna 1/8 buggy wheels and tires
Strobe slipper setup
8L/ 9920
4s1p 4k mah lipo
UBEC
stock radio set up (has to go soon)
stock differentials
FLM combo bulks
FLM shock towers
Xtreme fiberglass chassis
Xtreme chassis motor mount
no shifter servo, tranny locked into 2nd gear
JR 130 oz/in servo
Proline servo saver/ steering rack
4x Traxxas big bore shocks with single hole pistons and stock oil
Trinity Dark blue springs
Proline Ford Courier body mounted by velcro on top of shock towers, no body mounts
I think thats it for now.

SHoot me a PM..

B15 02.22.2006 03:30 PM

Nope, I bought 2 sets of 2. I didnt get the maxx set.

squeeforever 02.22.2006 05:25 PM

serum, why would you want to use big bores?

Serum 02.22.2006 05:52 PM

Because they look so darn cool..

Cooler than the stock shocks.. well, i can do without, but i like the trucks to look a bit nice, as you know..

B15 02.22.2006 11:22 PM

I use them because they were cheap, and they dont blow up like the stock ones do.

boss 302 02.23.2006 04:19 PM

i run all 8 big bores on my truck and they work real well and i havent had one blow out yet.
They are very nice shocks for the money.
