Man, that LST is super nice! I'm extremely envious!

Revo 3.3 is a large 1/10th scale/small 1/8th foot print wise, LST is a legit 1/8th scale. Prolly weighs 1/3 more too..

It should also be noted that this particular truck has been stretched to 1/5-1/6 scale length. Thats an FG Hummer body he's running. Totally awesome btw.

Popoxx 03.04.2010 08:56 AM

How to say AWESOME in German ? :yipi::yipi:
Great truck and skills !

suicideneil 03.04.2010 02:18 PM

EHRFÜRCHTIG!

Doesnt quite translate directly, since 'EHRFÜRCHTIG' comes out as 'reverential' or 'reveared'; kinda more accurate though as you have to worship a truck like that & its creator...

Popoxx 03.04.2010 07:00 PM

It was a rhetorical question but thanks for the lesson neil :mdr:

magman 03.04.2010 07:18 PM

Man....if I had access to those machines, I probably would not leave the house!

Stunning work!

Looking at it move around it's hard to believe this thing is a large 1/6th scale truck. It's nimble and fast and seems to jump well. It also looks really tough and durable. You did a fantastic job this truck is awesome.

ANGRY-ALIEN 03.28.2010 09:28 PM

Sweet... that big truck sure moves around nicely... great job man:yes:

nitrostarter 03.28.2010 09:59 PM

Very nice moving truck!

What steering servo is that?

suicideneil 03.29.2010 02:56 PM

Definately handles like a much smaller & lighter truck, very well done

jpoprock 03.29.2010 03:22 PM

Man, that thing does move good! I can't tell if it's the music track, or the truck that is making that wurring sound. That motor almost has a turbo whine to it. My BL-LST2 is a wicked little bugger too, but it doesn't have that "sound". Pretty awesome!! Makes me want to hurry along my conversion over to an XXL chassis!

dude, you can pick up a XXL chassis on ebay for $10 shipped or less...

jpoprock 03.29.2010 03:33 PM

Yes sir. I have one sitting right here. I'm just too busy and lazy to move all the stuff off my LST2 and put it on the XXL. I need to tap holes for my battery mount, ESC mount and receiver box.. or swap them from the LST2 now and not have to worry about it. I'll still need to tap holes for my battery box though. I don't feel like doing it. But I WANT to. Does that count? LOL!

nitrostarter 03.29.2010 03:52 PM

Lazy...:whip:

I just built a XXL conversion. I need a couple things to finish it up.

cornolio 03.29.2010 04:58 PM

Great truck!!!

We really need an lst section around here.
Btw what do I need to convert an lst2 to xxl?just the chassis and center driveshafts right?

Bondonutz 03.29.2010 05:14 PM

+1 on the LST forum !!!

Center CVDs
Main/top chassis plate
Side chassis rails

nitrostarter 03.29.2010 05:19 PM

Correct. The XXL does have different bevel gears in the transmission also. It provides a lower reduction(faster tranny). However, depending on your powerplant, you might not need them. The new LST conversion kit comes with a new bevel gear set as well, lowering the reduction again(faster tranny). And of course on all transmissions, you can do the swap mod for a slightly lower reduction as well.

Otherwise, parts are pretty much the same. Shock bodies went back to plastic threaded bodies. And I think they change the steering servos.

Stumpjumper 03.29.2010 05:38 PM

@ jpoprock - The motor and transmission really sounds like a TIE Interceptor. The cameraman say´s it too.

@ nitrostarter - It´s a Hitec Servo HS-5745MG whitout sticker.

btw - please stop offtpoic:cry:

jpoprock 04.20.2010 11:16 AM

Wow, excellent "black" job!!

A TIE Interceptor? SWEET!!!!

Stumpjumper 04.29.2010 07:41 AM

Well damn! I think it's all been said before so I will just say I really really like it, a lot!

The black and natural aluminum give it a nice color contrast and looks quite nice. One of the best home made conversion jobs ever.

ANGRY-ALIEN 04.29.2010 10:37 AM

Fantastic work man ... I love the carbon chassis plate with the aluminum inlay... sweet.... I am also just loving the attention to detail through out your build... every piece is so well done.

This thing is in a league of it's own, awesome.

One question: why the phillip's head hardware and not hex hardware?

ANGRY-ALIEN 04.29.2010 08:11 PM

:surprised:.... damn, it just gets better all the time... keep the updates coming man.

suicideneil 04.29.2010 09:30 PM

Concrete = click- its just regular stuff with nice gravel/ pebbles mixed in, to break up the plain grey colour- usually only see it on older buildings or driveways these days though.

Loving the black & silver, though the pure silver finish was kinda stunning too.

TexasSP 04.29.2010 11:19 PM

I believe the "concrete" in his picture is actually paving stones. The uniform shape, layout, and unevenness leads me to believe this.

Of course I was to busy drooling over the truck to notice concrete and had to actually go back and look to figure out what was going on with that comment.:whip:

Stumpjumper, I really think you may get bored with this truck and should go on and ship it to my house. The address is.............:intello:

Stumpjumper 04.30.2010 10:08 PM

@ simplechamp - because I think it had the strongest contact betwen tool and screwhead.
