Thats about 190in/ozs- not bad, but I think you'd find it a little lacking; I used to run a pair of hitec hs645mgs with a total of ~266in/oz and they struggled to move my wheels at a standstill, so...
I mean, look at the price though, ~$45 for 380in/oz of torque- thats a killer deal if you dont mind having a dual steering servo setup. If you prefer a single servo setup then something around 250 in/oz ( 18kg/cm ) is always suggested for best results.. |
Thanks Neil,I will buy the hitec.
Can I use both of this to my MMM?what is the difference? http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11613 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9514 They looks the same to me... |
Hard case vs no hard case. The hard case is handy if the batteries are exposed at all, or you tend to have bad crashes that might send the lipo flying through the air if the battery straps fail- just a little extra protection, but it makes the lipo and little larger too.
With the FLM chassis, I doubt you would need the hard case verison, just use a couple good velcro staps ( along & across the lipo/ battery tray ). |
Extra protection is good and the hard case are cheaper.. I think I will go for the hardcase
Thanks Neil |
Does the savox have the same quality as hitec?
I find that savox have some new waterproof standard servo and they are strong. Look at "Nyher från savöx" in the middle. http://kullagergrossisten.se/ Will this fit my new emaxx? http://www.liquidrc.com/index.php?ma...ducts_id=58906 |
I think the quality is definately there, yes. Havent been able to run mine outside yet to say how well it compares to my old setup, but it seems nice and powerful on the bench & you can see the finish quality of the servo case, if nothing else..

Stockdiff and flm bulks... I must shims 0.5-0.8 mm is that normal??
F**k I should have order hybrids! |
Im not really sure what you mean there? It is possible to shim the stock diffs though, yes- not sure on the sizes but there is a handy thread or two you can reference:

not inside the diff. The stockdiff housing is to small in the flm bulk. I guess I can put shims between the bulk and the housing.
But I don't like stockdiff. Iam trying to buy a used set of hybrids and hb pro diff right now.hope he give me a nice price... It's nice it's pro diff because I need pro to my other truck. |
Oh right, I see what you mean- there does tend to be a little side to side play sometimes with the diff case between the bulks, but I wouldnt worry really, wont hurt anything.
|
Yes, side to side. Can I have it like that? Shouldn't I shims it?
|
Help me:
Hitec 7955 Savöx 1271mg http://www.kullagergrossisten.se/pro...oducts_id=3809 Almost the same price. |
The savox has the slightly better spec, just. I dunno, if they are a similar spec and price then choose whichever one you think will look best in the truck, or which ever is likely to have the best aftermarket support.
Dont worry too much about the diff moving side to side- its only a tiny amount so wont hurt anything, you can shim it with a little padding or something if it bothers you. |
I have order:1 x Savöx Digitalt servo SV-1270TG. 35kg. High Voltage (SV-1270TG)
