You should really swing by CRC raceway in Rome, ny.. my home track, worth a visit :) They are racing this sunday but sadly.. next week is a bi week.. but could still play for a few on the track maybe.

From Points East and South East, North East; - Boston, NYC, Albany, VT, MA, CT....

1) From the northern and southern areas, take Route 87 to Albany and the NY State Thruway
2) From eastern areas, take Rt 90 east to the NY State Thruway
3) Follow the Thruway west to Exit 32 - Westmoreland
4) Take Rt 233 North to Rome about 8 miles
5) After 7 or so miles, you will come down a hill with a light at the
bottom. Intersection of Rt 233 and Rt69. Go straight through the light.
6) Right after you go under the bridge, There is a Sunoco station on the
right. The New CRC Raceway is the 1st driveway on the right past the
Sunoco Station.

THANKS!

There is a new Holiday Inn Express in Chester - ( about 20 mins from the track ) It has a pool and is not a bad place to stay -

2 BRYLE PLACE
CHESTER, NEW YORK 10918
Hotel Front Desk: 1-845-469-3000
Hotel Fax: 1-845-469-5242

There may be others closer to the track in Middletown - But this is close and is new and clean and near lots of restaurants and the like

HNC

What are we expecting for a turn out? No pre-registering? Weather looks AWESOME!! Hope it holds out!

put me down for e-truggy, e-buggy, and SC (running a 13.5 so what ever class I fit in), I'll bring a 17.5 just in case though..

Page 3, 10th post down. Post number 40 has a link for the pre registry....:intello:

Ill be running E Truggy also...:yipi::party:

stum 08.24.2010 10:47 PM

got it.. thanks all signed up.

Will a 13.5 be enough on this track for mod sc? I could drop in a 10.5, not sure if that would help or hurt though. Guess I'll find out in a few days :) I can't do stock even with a 17.5 as I'm a AE sc10, so mod it is.

Is there a large local crowed joining in or just a small group? Never been to a rcm bash before. I ran at the old track (barnstomers) but it was a week or so before the RCM bash and it was a PACKED house that day.. a TON of fun.

Electric Dave 08.25.2010 07:56 PM

Very glad the Bash is almost here. A bunch of guys (maybe 5-10) from my local track in CT are all coming out again for the Bash. I hear very good things about this host track - can't wait to see it.

Cool.. ya some good drivers in CT, a bunch make it up to CRC raceway in Rome, NY (my home track) every now and then. Lots of fun!!

HotnCold 08.25.2010 09:07 PM

Weather is indeed looking to be Awesome - I know Mike is looking forward to his bash. It will be nice to put some faces to the names..

swiftneed 08.25.2010 09:25 PM

Hey just letting you know I never raced before or practiced so I should be outta there pretty quick but am going to have my fun

Arct1k 08.25.2010 10:03 PM

The same my first year - don't worry its all good fun!

E-Revonut 08.25.2010 10:11 PM

Unfortunately I won't be making the journey this year. I have a lot going on at the moment. My friend that I grew up with since he was born is having his bachelor party the same day, friends leaving for college, and I will be between part time jobs waiting for the new place to open up.

Hope everyone has fun!

magman 08.25.2010 10:14 PM

I had a sliver of hope of coming this year...but alas, with the wife still jobless...money is just to tight

Thanks for the offer Chris, but I just can't swing any extras these days. Part of the problem stems from the $1000- I just sunk into my truck, daughter getting braces, hot water tank starting to leak...etc...When it rains, it definitely pours!

Again, thanks I really appreciate the offer. Have a great time!

brushlessboy16 08.26.2010 06:24 PM

swiftneed 08.29.2010 12:23 AM

What a blast : Im still hyped up from placing first at the high jump not that Arct1k raised the ramp to beat my jump but It was great and by the way HE did but I think thats like putting a bigger motor after you lose the race LOL:yipi::na: Gotta give thanks to all the guys there especially The Monster himself, Hot kinda Cold , Brushless Super guy , and Arct1k ice.THEY let me know not  to use wood screws on my servo who knew they looked the same well I got er done to run thats what counted until the Professionals showed up then  boy did they show me :whip: Thank god Suicide wasnt there LOL . YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST REALLY MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE AND HELPED ME OUT RIGHT AWAY WHOEVER HASNT COME TO A RACE THIS IS DEFINITELY THE WAY TO GO EVEN IF ITS YOUR FIRST TIME :mdr: GOT HOME AT 11:40PM

eovnu87435ds 08.29.2010 12:59 AM

The bash was definitely worth the 300 mile round trip we took! Got to do some awesome racing, my truggy didn't break, I got to meet Mike, Chris, Jamie, and many others, and I got a sweet deal on a new pinion! I started drooling when I saw Mike's brushless 5B running today. I wish there were enough mini truggies for it's own class, but it was still fun to race in 4WD mod short course with a truck that is about 4 lbs heavier than the rest!

In all, it was one hell of a day! Thanks to all those who supported it!

Electric Dave 08.29.2010 06:47 AM
