Hmmmm, What motor do you guys think for my MBX6T-E, 1518 or 1520, would the 1520 be too low of a kv?
Its used for racing mostly but often driven up and down the street, 5s or 6s lipo used.

I believe several guys on here are using the 1520 on their MBX6Te and are loving it.

I would love to race the 1520 but we have a 4S limit on the cups here :(

I was thinking the same... If I didn't spend $460 on 2 Hyperion 6s lipos yesterday I would have bought wayyy more motors.

I ordered five of the big boys earlier today, 3x1520's, 2x1717s.
I have no idea where to even put them all lol.

I think we'll blow out the stock pretty fast :)

Yes, 1520 is the same diameter as the 1515. The 1717 is larger, so will have to be more creative. I'm sure someone has done it. 1520 is plenty tho

HOpe castle can see how many motors they are able to sell when they reduce prices

You can run 4S packs with 1520/1Y, with better efficiency than the 1515/1Y ;) You just have to increase the pinion size ;)

It sucks for me because the end of the month is where my funds are tightest, I'd love to have bought several more ! If these are still availible(doubt it) the first week of Oct I will buy more. I did call and add a CM26 6800kv for my RC18 this AM, what a deal on the motors.

I'm not to terribly worried, I got a couple for now, maybe a little luck they're be some left in another 8-10days. If not the world will not come to a end, it'll seem that way tho :tongue:

For some reason, I don't believe these are going to exactly fly off the shelf, except from us and the boating guys. Most hobby shops and uneducated go for the common combos and are totally oblivious to the goodness these motors create!

I know I'll be picking up a couple more motors later if they are still available. I picked up 2 for current projects but would like more for future expansion!!

I hope your right Cory cause I want a couple more while the getting is good.
