Not sure who's adaptor kit I have in there, but both packs are pretty well stuffed in there between the pinion and steering. Def no room for bigger packs.

Just looked at your pics again.
If I see it correctly you only have 2x 6s 5000 in there? When looking at Othello's Five-T thread (he drained 2x 4s 8000 pretty quickly with a 2028 and much lower gearing) that seems not enough even with the best lipos available. Maybe put another two of those 6s packs right next to the motor. BTW, I really wonder about weight distribution as it is now, doesn't look too good, is it noticeable while driving? How about a proper UE chassis? Plus a 'standard' rear differential housing that allows for a straight center driveline? :) |
the 2028 is nothing compared to the lerner 3080. There's a huge size difference.
I think the 'other side' of the ring gear actually works well. The rear driveline is nearly a straight line and there's room for a motor. Agreed, balance is way off with all the conversions I've seen. I do have a 'proper' chassis on the drawing board, but to be honest, I'm so sick of every clown just waiting for ue to release something so they can do a crappy copy it for half price, my heart just isn't in RC these days. And the back biting and back stabbing....omg, it's just not worth it. |
