Mr E-Maxx 01.07.2016 05:30 PM

Hi,

@DarkSammy Thanks!
@tinuss Yes I know it, but I don't like it when I saw it on a photo.
I ask this guy only a few hour later if he still had the VBS Set. You can be happy!

I got some new Parts. A new Reciver Box and a new Antanna Mount. The Antanna Mount is a Kyosho part. It fit very nice.

Mr E-Maxx 01.11.2016 07:10 PM

Hi Guys,

I Need your help.
Should I let anodize the parts ? If yes what Color? Only one or tow or even more?
I am very unsure because I don't know how the Colors will look on the Truck. Did you have any Experience with it?

tinuss 01.11.2016 07:26 PM

I have several done .... Do it and make a difference in all the sweet rides out there .

Colours what ever u find good looking .

Ps . Is it expensive in Germany ?

DarkSammy 01.12.2016 01:42 AM

It really comes down to what business you have near you. Google Anodising in your local area. I found a business that way, and they could provide me with pictures of various parts they had anodized for other customers. It was actually less expensive than I thought it would be here locally...

tinuss 01.14.2016 05:35 AM

so u made up your mind on the anno job ?
I have some parts that will be done this month , if u want I could ask a quote for u ...

u live like a hour away from me :)

Mr E-Maxx 01.14.2016 06:36 PM

Hi Guys,

I found somebody here in Germany. tinuss if you like I will send you his Address.
I am still not sure what color is the right one but now I a few month to think about it because I dropped my mobile phone and now it didn't work anymore. :( Bad mistake....
I got my last missing Parts this week. So you will get some new pictures soon.

tinuss 01.15.2016 07:51 AM

Mr E-Maxx 01.18.2016 05:00 PM

I don't know why but the body splid up near the front holes. After I drilled them everything was find but one day later they splid up. This never happend me before. I will use this body for driving and make a new one.

RC-Monster Mike 01.19.2016 10:07 PM

Truck is looking beastly!

tinuss 01.20.2016 02:08 AM

sweet ride ....
looks beefy !!

Arct1k 01.21.2016 01:01 AM

Nice - look at Lunsford titanium tie rods and revo rod ends to add a bit of beef

Mr E-Maxx 01.21.2016 05:54 PM

Hi,

@Mike and tinuss Thanks!
@Arct1k I think you mean the short steering linkage right? This is a titanium tie rod. I'm not sure if the bigger Revo rod ends will fit in the steering. I never had a problem with the M3 tie rods.

Mr E-Maxx 02.01.2016 08:01 PM

Hello Guys,

so I made some test runs and I am very happy with this truck. The Sock Oil and Springs are too soft, but I started with 30wt Asso. Now I running 37.5wt with Medium Team C Springs. This is much better but still very soft. So I need some stiffer springs. Maybe Team C rear hard or Hot Bodies rear in orange, red or gold.
I think the new HB orange are very good for a 5.2kg Truck with heavy wheels.
The Diffs fell good with 7k in front and 3k in the rear.
Camber is now on -1.5° at the front and -1° at the rear axel. Spur is -2° at the front and +2° rear.
Traction is very good. The new MMX is working very well. I love the new Aux Port at this ESC. It was very Wet when I test it and help a lot to finde a good Set-Up for the punch control.

KMN 02.02.2016 05:02 PM

If they will fit, I ended up with the Kyosho 74mm Blue's. They're the stiffest they offer for 16mm shocks. I believe they are on par with the HB Orange springs, so either would work. I also ended up going to 47.5wt in the rear and 55wt in the front. The truck hasn't been run yet, but I can drop it from about 4FT without it bottoming out or rebounding too quickly.

Mr E-Maxx 05.27.2016 04:00 PM

Hi,

I found my Shock Set-Up now. I chose 8 Team C T8 Rear Shocks and limit them in both ways around 5mm. I use red hard Team C Springs and 50 WT Losi Shock Oil. It works very well.
