Guys, Mike has let me know as well, he can easily offer a "Drill Fixture" for G3 owners should they want in on this run of Slipperential. This will easily allow you to drill the required hold to bolt the Motor Mount onto the x brace.

SO, if this is what has been holding you back, then post up or send me a PM, lets make this happen for you ;-)

RC-Monster Mike 10.15.2015 06:31 PM

OK, I need folks to email me their name, address and paypal payment address to rcmonstermike@gmail.com - I will then calculate shipping and send money requests - these are ready to go. :-)

RC-Monster Mike 10.15.2015 06:33 PM

Their name on the list is needed as well(DarkSammy, for example).

RC-Monster Mike 10.15.2015 09:43 PM

I am actually able to gather most info from past orders(names, addresses, etc.), though some info may be out-dated?
lamrk6(Lucas), CCristo(Chris), Blazerss(Kris), please email confirmation of your addy and PP info. I think I have everyone else figured out(will send money requests tomorrow for the ones I can deduce. :-)

DarkSammy 10.15.2015 11:18 PM

Mike, leave it to me, I will ensure this information is fed to all members via the communication avenue they made contact with me! BOOM!!!

DarkSammy 10.16.2015 07:07 AM

Everyone contacted Mike. Let me know if you need me to follow up with anyone. :)

Cheers!

RC-Monster Mike 10.16.2015 12:09 PM

The following items are needed to complete the transmission:

1 - Hot Bodies Lightning differential(complete aside from the spur/ring gear)
1 - KYOIF147 44t mod1 spur gear (Kyosho)
1 - TRA5352 - Slipper rebuild kit(Traxxas part - 5352x or 5352r should be fine as well)
1 - TRA5351 - slipper assembly
1 - TRA3955 40t Revo spur
1 - diff oil of your choice
2 - 5x11 bearings for the input shaft

DarkSammy 10.16.2015 06:47 PM

Only one available and only one I found: http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Bodies-HBC.../dp/B000BP4FGO

DarkSammy 10.21.2015 11:28 PM

Hey guys, sorry have been out of town for a few days. I am sure Mike will get them shipped as soon as he can. Regarding the HB Diff, yes I saw one available on Amazon without too much trouble searching, but remember most current 1/8th diffs should work so long as you can accommodate a 44t with it...

I have a OFNA Spyder 8 Centre Diff I plan to test fit with and will post up how it goes for others to see...

This would be perfect ...

I have several diff's lying around so hoping regulars will work .

Mr E-Maxx 10.22.2015 11:21 AM

Hi,

The new D812 and D8T Diffs are the same size. But they have Aluminium Crosspins and Light Outdrives. The Vorza or C1 Diffs could be the same als the Lightning Diffs with all Steel Parts but I'm not sure. You Can find a lot HPI/HB Diffs at eBay.

RC-Monster Mike 10.22.2015 02:44 PM

Jammin diff and Kyosho mp7.5 diffs are basically the same size, too. The newer diffs are smaller and would need shimming most likely, but still doable. The newer HB diffs should be a direct fit as well. These should be arriving in mailboxes now. :-)

DarkSammy 10.22.2015 05:46 PM

BOOM! ;-)

Anyone who knows me well has seen this before. It means Sammy is happy haha.

Great stuff guys

tinuss 11.05.2015 02:25 PM

Had a note from the mailman today .
Have to pay 30 bucks .... Grrrr

I hate customs

Picking up tomorrow

Mr E-Maxx 11.05.2015 05:06 PM

wow 30 bucks is a lot...Last time I paid only 17. Did you must pay extra shipping cost ?

tinuss 11.05.2015 05:44 PM

Depence on the value stated on te customs form .
I at least ask for 25 to 30 bucks value so they wont charge me

DarkSammy 11.05.2015 06:32 PM

Australia is looking to possibly change our tax scheme when importing goods. At the moment we pay no tax if the value is less than $1000, but this has hurt our local retailers as online shopping has boomed over the past decade...

The trouble for our Hobby Stores in particular is that consumers can pay retail+shipping from overseas, and pay less than what our hobby shops are paying at wholesale from the product distributors. How is that even possible?

I was looking for an ESC for a crawler about 12 months ago. I am not a rich man, but look to support local when I can. ESC would cost me about $60 USD ($80 AUD) including shipping to my door. I chatted to a LHS, and the cost to purchase in Australia would have been a little over $200 AUD. The poor LHS told me that at wholesale they would be paying more for the ESC than what I could order it as Retail from the states...

Wow! With this parts the Truck can't be bad. This Truck is winning all the time!:mdr::lol:

tinuss 11.06.2015 12:23 PM

although a 1 speed conversion kit from gmaxx and a flm half case would be sweet to ...

gotta love the gmaxxes

RC-Monster Mike 11.06.2015 12:33 PM

The spacing for the support leg was a little off on my G1 - I initially thought I messed something up when I made them, but it fits the G2 perfectly. I think you may need to space the support leg a little for a perfect fit(washer between the support leg and mount).

DarkSammy 11.06.2015 10:22 PM

Sounds good Mike, I will make it work one way or another. Madly polishing the motor mount at the moment, it is such a chore, but the results are worth it in the end...
