AMEN to that!

BTW

Like the new sig. Gee....I wonder where that came from :005:

An RC dyno would be great. Don't matter if its a chassis or engine dyno both would be a blast.
Put my 1:1 car on the chassis dyno 4 times last year. Had a blast every time and learned more about the car each time. When I took the car to the dragstrip there was still alot of tuning to do. But the chassis dyno did help.

An RC dyno would be the same. Its not going to tell you everything. But it is cool/fun to now how much HP your making or to compare motors batts etc.
What is the matter with braging rights:005: ?

Thank you,
Promod

That what I've been trying to say! LOL!

Thanks for the support PROMOD.

BTW.....any chance you have a video of your car on the DYNO? I'd love to see it!

Mine goes back on the dyno in May.

Thanks,

Pro.

With 1:1 cars a dyno makes more sense IMO, you can tune it and now what direction you are heading. With RC, the eagletree tells me all i need/want to know. (not disagreeing with any other person/post here, just trying to share my opinion)

Promod 02.06.2007 12:06 AM

No doubt the eagletree is a great tool. Wish I had one years ago.

Sorry, don't have any video of the car. Someone did video it on the dyno everytime I went but was never given a copy.

Thank you,
Promod

There is an easy way to see how much HP you are putting to the ground.
Do some searching and you wille asily find the formula, I dont remember it off the top of my head.

You will need:
weight of vehicle
E.T. of 132ft
top speed at 132ft

Try to get as little wheelspin as possible.

Promod 02.06.2007 08:34 AM

I try to get as much wheel spin as possible. That means its making more POWER:027: !!

Actually it shows more power. In my dads streetracing days, he had a car with air shocks in the rear and when he had the shocks lowered, people thought it was weak, even though it won more. Smoke rulz

DAMN!!! That place is only an hour from me. I'm not gonna buy one, but I wounder what they would charge to dyno some setups for me. I wonder if I could go down there and just bring a couple trucks with some diferent motors and batteries and have them dynoed with the different setups. Id be interested to see what it looked like next to the nitros.

I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see what they say. Only problem is Im on the road for work now and for the next few weeks so I probably wont get time to head out ther for a few weeks. That is provided they will do it for me.

Now you got went and got me all excited!!!!!
