Sounds perfect for racing and hard bashing... you should have room to gear up a little for speed runs.

Bummer the Wanderer 9xl is out of stock would the 10xl be good or should I just go with the fiago 9xl?

By the way this is deffiently going into a x1-crt with the hb front and rear 43/10 diffs and a 51t center gear powered by 2 Orion 4800 lipos controlled by the Mamaba Maxx.

Speaking of the diffs do I have to get a full diff assembly or can the HB gears work with the ofna diffs? These are new and it would be a shame to toss them aside.

Thanks

Well, the 10xl will obviously be a little slower than the 9xl at the same voltage. If that's OK with you, or you can up the voltage a little to compensate, or don't mind gearing up a tad to compensate, then go with the 10xl.

How about the feigao 540 8xl is that getting too hot?

BrianG 02.11.2007 12:25 PM

I assume you are going with 4s? The 8XL should be perfectly fine with that.

neweuser 02.12.2007 10:17 AM

8xl should be fine. Have you contacted Mike to see if he may havea 9xl around maybe? But on 4s, an 8xl would be better anyway.
