you also gotta role the trottle where as on a mugen you can nail it quickly after the corner.

That is exactly what mike said after racing his 8 last weekend - he runs a bit of drag brake to help with the spin outs. But he did say the turning radius was absolutely insane (GREAT)..

Serum 05.04.2007 11:06 AM

turning radius is good..

:)

imo, we will never see a bl ready mugen or jammin.
Good thing i've got the mind of an elephant, i will gladly remind you to these words..

I've noticed a big difference in the diff fluids that I needed for my conversions. After a couple of months, I'm still working out the details with my Muggy. It was driving OK with the 30K in the center, 10k in the front, and 3K in the rear. I did bump up a bit after the conversion compared to when I was running nitro.

Yesterday, I got a bit nuts and went 100K in the center, 50K in the front, and 30K in the rear, and now it's almost driving like I want it too. I think I went a bit too heavy in the rear. Once I get the back end under control, I'll see how the front responds, but so far I like the 50K in the front.

jollyjumper 05.04.2007 01:37 PM

would it pull wheelies with 30K center?

1bhutch 05.04.2007 08:06 PM

it sounds like the 8-t is hard to learn to drive would it be harder to learn to drive the 8-t cause i have never drivena truggy cause i would be learning how to drive a truggy at the same time? also i was loking through mty magizines and i got caught on the mbx5t i like it cause it is just such a well rounded race truck. i also thought the 8 was faster cause i read a article about they got three truggs and they testsed them for a good time and they said that the 8-t had the fastest lap times.

also what about the walkera motor i think that the esc would be crap.

jollyjumper 05.05.2007 03:43 AM

the walkera motor and that esc sound 10 times to small. 180 BL motor is for mini's i think.
get a 8XL or neu 1512/1515 or lehner 1940/1950.

1bhutch 05.05.2007 08:17 AM

thanks for the info

HotnCold 05.05.2007 08:29 AM

and remember that they test those truggies with professional drivers - so i would go with the one that looks best to you - not the one that the pros drive faster.. It happens all the time - the better driver can win races - not necessarily with the newest best tested vehicle... good luck

1bhutch 05.05.2007 08:32 AM

good point

1bhutch 05.05.2007 02:59 PM

AAngel 05.05.2007 05:34 PM

The ice charger is nice too. I like mine, but they don't come with a power supply.

1bhutch 05.06.2007 07:19 AM

first off can he mrc do ni mh to? and what is a power supply

jollyjumper 05.06.2007 07:28 AM

power supply is a device you plug in the mains and it convert the 110/240 volt into 12 or 24 volts.
it also makes the output stable.
oh yeah the mrc does nicd, nimh and lipo.

1bhutch 05.07.2007 03:55 PM

does the mrc or the ice charge two batteries at once cause that would make it alot eaiser to charge batteries for the e

BrianG 05.07.2007 04:23 PM

If you are going to always use and charge both packs together, why not simply charge both packs in series? After all, that is how they are running. You just have to make sure that whatever charger you get can charge that many cells at once.

1bhutch 05.08.2007 07:55 PM

could the emaxx esc handle 14 cells going into one pickup

BrianG 05.08.2007 08:36 PM

If you look at MM's second pic, there is a little jumper that completes the circuit and allows you to use one set of "pickups". Keep in mind that the dual inputs is simply a convenient way of having a Y adaptor.

1bhutch 05.08.2007 08:57 PM

what?

BrianG 05.08.2007 09:02 PM

Well, I thought you were asking if one set of wires could take the whole battery voltage. I was saying "yes", with a little extra explanation...

The MM means MambaMaxx, it's the controller for larger cars made by www.castlecreations.com

MetalMan 05.09.2007 03:49 PM

I do believe Brian is referring the the second pic in this post of mine:
