I ordered the integy suspension tonight. Have to get truck fixed so can go testing. See if I like the way it drives.

Mike_D 07.28.2005 07:42 PM

Which integy did you order, the pro3?

coolhandcountry 07.28.2005 08:03 PM

Yeah the maxx racer x in blue type pro 3.

So i just broke a front bulk tonight, what kind of bulks do you use? This question goes out to you to mike and to anyone else who would like to throw in there opinion on what kind i should get.

coolhandcountry 07.28.2005 09:07 PM

I run the fast lane combo for the stock gears. I have hit telephone pole at 20. Came to dead stop. I have not broke nothing in that one. Crashed hard enough to kill my 7xl. It even knocked the pinion off the shaft. They are a strong bulk head. Not sure on weight wise though.

Depends on the truck and the purpose. For strength and looks, I would go with the FasLane Bulks. The look sharp and are very tough, along with carrying a nice replacement price, should something every break or bend($8). The Integy type II are nice and light, and I run these on a race truck. These can be broken if you are a basher and are likely to land some crazy jumps without landing on the wheels, but they hold up great for normal use and are pretty light. The Unlimited Engineering VBS is the ultimate, offering superior strength, low weight and serious style points(as well as a hefty price and limited availability:().
Bang for the buck goes to fastlane in my opinion.

I have yet to break the fast lane mike. Has any one that you know of. I bent a gmaxx chassis with out messing them up.

I'm running GA's. Almost the same as flm but with a 2 nice features, a brace that supports the rear link's and a crossbrace with 6 mounting holes in the front. It's a bit heavy, but extremely tough. I like those 2 features over the fastlane one.

RC-Monster Mike 07.30.2005 09:01 AM

I haven't ever seen a damaged fastLane bulkhead. They are rock solid. The GA bulks are a little heavier, a bit more expensive, but also tough as nails.

and the new types of FLM are lighter as well (shaved off a little bit more material, they more look like the bulkless now)

When you planing on swapping out the rpm crap?
