Here is my e-lst, thanks to rc monster for the help getting it up and going. Also I have an st-1, t4, t3, tc3, axial crawler, rc18t, and some helis all brushless except the rc18t.
Last 3 in the back yard the other one is at a real nice local bash spot, some nice jumps for air there.

BB16 - You have the TTR ST-1? How do you like it?

bb16 01.11.2008 12:23 AM

Only had it for 2-3 weeks but it seems to be tough, its well made and the engine behaves well. Its great car for the money. Taken it off some big jumps to get some good air 15 feet or so and it hasn't broken, one of those jumps landed in a bad nose dive.

Here's my Rustler currently equipped with 4s LiPo, MGM 16016, and an Align 600XL. I'm using taped speed hawgs in the rear and there are ceramic bearings in the transmission and rear axles. Hopefully soon I'll have a 6s LiPo pack, an MGM 16024, and more ceramic bearings for the slipper clutch and front axles. :oh:

It would appear that she put quite a lot of time in to her hair, so I would say no. Definitely nitro if you ask me... but IDK much about nitro except it runs hot.

Ehhem... back on topic.

gtxracer 01.13.2008 10:00 PM

Most girls spend a lot of time on their hair. No offense, but it looks like she just blow-dried or air dried it. Looks very natural and my girlfriend and I both agree - she's very pretty.

Nice catch bud.

Here's the latest shot of my XT8. Still don't have the motor, esc yet so you'll just have to see the outside shot. Just painted this body and I really like it. Let me know what you think:

Thanks! Well, as of right now, I'm waiting for the MMM to come out and give that a try. Probably the 1500kv version. If that doesn't happen, I'll go with the old standby Neu 1515. Not sure what esc if no MMM. Especially since I already have the battery and it's a NeuEnergy 6s 3900.

By the way - nice rides Captain!!

DickyT, that is one sick Revo. It looks kinda evil with all the black parts on it. Hey with those tires you could throw a 1521 in there on 6s.

BL_RV0 01.17.2008 10:45 AM

well, let us know how it goes, (because you ARE doing it, RIGHT?!)

Thanks. I want to get a 1515 1y on 4s and 5s. 6s is just more than I want to spend on batteries.

Sower 01.17.2008 11:33 AM

Actually it shouldn't be any more for 6s unless you're keeping the same mah for a 4s and 5s as a 6s. But that's not necessary since you don't need as much mah for a 6s as a 4s or 5s.

Did any of that make any sense?

lincpimp 01.17.2008 11:38 AM

Yep, a 3s 5000mah battery and a 6s 2500mah battey should produce the same runtime, if the correct kv motors are employed to produce the same motor speed and the gearing is the same. I have noticed that the hv setup seems to get slightly longer runtimes than expected. I think that boils down to the hv setup being more effecient.

On the 1515 1/y, the 6s would be a tad on the hot side. 5s is warm, 4s is perfect.

Dude, thanks - that's exactly what I was trying to say. And yeah, I think you're right about the efficiency. Since you're drawing less amps - the heat load is lower and I think it just runs better. At least that's what I'm betting on since I've got a 6s 3900 waiting to go into my XT8. :mdr:

i am aware, but thank you for the info. I plan on running on 4s and throwing in a 5s pack purely for vulgar displays of power.

I already have two 2s and a 3s for my Rusty. I can get 4s and 5s there with a series adapter. I will be buying separate batts for the revo though as I only have 1 battery tray.

Sower 01.17.2008 01:07 PM

"vulgar displays of power" . . . . awesome.

My e-maxx on youtube. I want to get a monoblock or kershaw 1/6 chassis to extend the wheelbase.

I don't have a vid of the rc8t yet, but since getting it, I am undecided if I should sell the maxx.
