Griffin, thank you. I really don't know what others like to drive, but in my buggy I like the sway bar in the front real thin. And on those few truggies I could drive, I felt I liked them better with no sway bar at all in the front.
Rear only works well for me on this truck. Like I said, I wanted to have as mucch on power steering as possible... now the truck turns extremly well. Thank you Silvester! The Trackpowers are actually not bad at all :) LOL, they rock man. They are light, and have some serious power. On this 4S truck, I swap between a 1950/6 and a 1950/8. The 8 for backyard fun, geared for 30... the 6 for track time, geared for 35-ish. But this is mainly because when I go to a track, I want to put the 8 in my 5S buggy. And the 6 is just too much for the backyard. Not much track time this summer yet, obviously. The yellow/red wheels are dyed yellow with an airbrushed red ring, and the fronts are just white with painted blue... sealed it up with some clear lacquer stuff... let's see if they hold up, but I doubt it. a new revo g maxx build
hi people i am building a gmaxx revo basically got a rolling cassis sorted but am looking at what tye of esc and motor to use im gonna be using it to bash about but want lots of power to wheelie to not sure on the batterys either im gonna be shipping them to england from the us
does any one no the best place to get these to i hope you can help many thanks linds |

I need some setup help: I never had a MT that oversteers on-power. This one simply has too much steering response, I tried everything I could think of. Revo set-up gurus, any advice??

Interesting Daf;
Have you played with chamfer/caster/toe in? front/rear? weight ballance? Things for more traction in corners; softer anti-rol bar more toe-in less possitive camber in front gives you less grip in front more possitive rear camber gives you less change of traction rolling Less (smaller angle) caster in front gives you less steering |

Okay, today was much better! I think one of my problems were worn down rear tires.
I switched back to a thinner rear sway bar and a lighter oil in the front diff. Now it's pretty good. It was easy to drive today, the track was very loose. |

Daf, try putting some of the caster clips in the back. Most run them all up front so the a-arms are all the way back, for more steering, but thats obviously not necessary with your truck.

Thank you! As I posted yesterday, the few changes helped a lot. The biggest thing probably were the new tires. At the moment I have the caster clips at 2-2.
I will go out to a track again today. Again with my buggy and this revo, and as sad as it is, I will have to decide between one of them :frown: I can only afford to keep one racer, sad truth. And focusing on one class will be better for me anyway, as I don't have unlimited time for this hobby. Stay tuned Daf |
