A little off-topic, but I just noticed that Dafni has both of the top viewed threads in the entire forum! This one at 15k+, and the other Revo thread at 16k+! How's it feel to be so popular? :)

LOL Feels good :)

The thread of my first BL revo is like 2 1/2 years old... time flies :026: Back then Starscream and me were the only guys with BL revos here.

1bhutch, you're talking about the shock boots maybe? They are Jato parts, but fit the revo shocks too.

Neil, This isn't how I understand it to be. The pre-load nut is only to counter the weight of the vehicle to get the static resting position of the truck at a height you want. Past this, the spring rate determines how soft or stiff you are (not considering progressive geometry the revo has). I bring this up cause I was about to suggest to Daf to go with softer springs in the rear to get more weight transfer to the rear. But he seems to have solved his problem so......cheers:027: <===taking a swig

Dafni 06.13.2007 01:49 AM

Cheers :)

Yeah, now it handles great. On the track, it looks just like an 1/8!

But I am facing the dilemma of not being able to afford 2 race RCs at the moment. No matter how I turn it, 2 is pointless for me. I think focusing on one class would make stuff much easier for me. The big problem now is that I like the buggies a lot. I think I will try to sell the revo :012:

Im from bar-celona, I know no-thing..... (faulty towers fans will get the joke)
Once again I display my amazing lack of knowledge. :007:

Dafni- yeah, that sucks, but I think selling the Revo makes more sense. In a few years you will be able to pick up a good rolling chassis for about $50, so you can always build another!

I went truggy and wouldn't have changed a thing. Same with a buggy.......there's so much more room and a flat chassis is ideal for mounting things and getting creative.:dft012:

Okay guys, since I posted about me wanting to sell it, I get a lot of PMs. But please only send me serious offers... there are many unique parts on there, so it has a decent value. I will not trade it for a Rustler, even if it has a Mamba Max and comes with some stick packs.

Thank you
Daf

Serum 06.15.2007 01:59 AM

LOL! i was planning on including 3 stickpacks daf!!!

Dafni 06.15.2007 02:03 AM

If you include the beaten up stock body and the worn down stock tires, you can have it. But only if the stick packs are 1700 NiCad :005:

squeeforever 06.15.2007 04:09 AM

I'll give you my Micro-T and a extra battery! :005:

E-Revolution 06.15.2007 06:25 AM

Nice revo ! That man who get that revo is lucky man :D .

suicideneil 06.15.2007 04:32 PM

I'll give you £10 & some T-maxx 1.5 tie-rods that are too short for my Gmaxx.
Seriously though, if no-one makes you a good enough offer on here, I would part it out (to an extent) & sell her on feEbay.

jnev 08.24.2007 11:53 PM

Curious how the Revo has been going Dafni...?

I still think that this is the nicest E-Revo I have ever seen in my life.

Please ignore things like the toe settings and the generall lack of dirt. :)

First some details:

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...Phase_2011.jpg
The titanium rods and turnbuckles. When I still had the RD Logics knuckles.

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1.../phase6008.jpg
The new RD Racing stuff.

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...Phase_3006.jpg
The rear sway bar, note the extended plates too. (I had to put some extra stand-offs under them in the meantime)

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1.../phase6009.jpg
The sexy motor mount. Gear mesh is set from below, nitro-style. The whole mount can slide from side to side.

Now some complete shots!

I will try to shoot some fresh pics too. The slipperential I tested held up fine so far, the diffs too. Along the way I bent two gorilla front skid plates, they are just weak by design. One is bent slightly, the other severe. Let's hope the new ones will be better.

Just so everyone knows what it lookes like

Me, I have had this page book marked since I saw them posted lol.. Truely the COOLEST e revo EVER! The ultimate truggy (I think it falls under truggy now lol, has everything a truggy does)
