They are plentiful in the BST at UE. If you can get in touch with robin for him to let you in. If you do he will let you in.

And when I say plentiful. I mean I have probably seen 15 sets go through in the last year.

wow... that's great...

Maxxrickard 07.25.2010 11:00 AM

Is it good to use a UE monoblock?
Why do i need it...?

Kcaz25 07.25.2010 02:25 PM

It helps to keep the front of the truck on terraferma, thus allowing for faster excelleration. It also helps to keep the truck level in the air. It moves the heavy parts forward. It will also hurt your steering radius a small amount. Well worth it IMHO

Maxxrickard 07.25.2010 03:17 PM

Okey. Is it possible for me in Sweden to buy one? Will it fit my flm chassi?

ANGRY-ALIEN 07.25.2010 03:27 PM

It works with all Maxx chassis (FLM, UE, Bombproof, Gmaxx and of course stock units)... and I agree with Zack... the increased stability is noticeable...

UE only sell to people within the USA though, so to buy one you will need to either check ebay or forum buy/sell/trade sections, or find a helpful yank to buy one for you & send them the money..

Did you see how I mistyped accleration? lol Yeah I forgot to mention it helps in the rough stuff aswell.

Maxxrickard 07.27.2010 07:26 PM

2nd one- they are both the same but the 1st is a lightweight version; I tend not to trust light weight versions of drivetrain parts..

You will also need this to match it though:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJBM3&P=M good

The buggy version ( 43/13 ) has straight cut teeth like this:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXLGU1&P=SM bad

And wont mesh with the spiral cut truggy gears ( 43/10 ).

Maxxrickard 08.08.2010 05:22 AM

And if I change the hole diff, is it this one?

Do I use 7k in front and 3k rear?

Can i use this, less money:http://iphone.ebay.com/Pages/ViewIte...20diff&emvcc=0
Is ig the same quality?

suicideneil 08.09.2010 03:54 PM

Thats the one you want yeah- I think its cheaper because it needs assembling vs being ready-made. I'd assume the bearings are the same/correct size, though you can always look that up on the exploded views or part listings for the vehicle they come from ( lightning or D8 ).

Quality should be fine, cant imagine they would wear out very quickly even if they werent hardend steal, unless your kids drive like loonies...

7k front 3k rear yeah- Im running 7k & 5k but thats because diff tuning is not my specialty- just looked up a fairly generic setup and went with that- either one is a good starting point really.

Maxxrickard 08.25.2010 04:42 AM

I have new hb diffs with spiral gear. Do I put them in the same way as my other diff? On to the left and one to the right?I have also new hybridsbulkheads. Now I can make my other truck childrenproof...

suicideneil 08.25.2010 03:04 PM

I believe this should explain better than I can:

http://www.hotbodiesonline.com/instr_gtx2/10.jpg

Using the spiral cut diffs like yours, the ring gear will be on the right hand side ( when viewed from above & behind ). If the truck goes backwards after everything is assembled and you programme the esc/radio, just swap 2 of the motor wires around ( 1 & 3, 2 stays in the middle ).
