The only problem with that setup is that the battery is too small both in cells and capacity. But, it's just to test the buggy and it gets me about 10 min. After I run that battery to the 9v cutoff it's a little hot but it stays balanced throughout the entire charge period.

The other battery that I ordered will be a lot better suited for the job (TP extreme 6s 3850). I figure I should get around 45-60 minutes with that pack.

Heli guys swear by Thunder Power's Extreme lineup including myself.:mdr:

Who told you the Extremes were bad batteries?

Thanks for posting that up

Yeah - no problem.

Pat there is very friendly and I have experienced nothing but excellent customer service. I have placed several orders through them with no problems.

That's great to here regarding longevity. I have a bunch of the ProLite packs that are 1.5 - 2 years old and are still in tip-top shape, which is why I gave the extremeV2 packs a try. Good to hear some first hand experience on the TP extreme packs as well.

I have read a lot of posts on the e-heli forums and I think they may be even harder on LiPos than we are. We get peaks of high current, but these guys can drain a 10S pack at 10c-15c with some of their crazy 3D flying.

i have just read so many people (small compared to the pple who own them probably) were complaining of them, not worth the money... but i see i am wrong.

SORRY!
