looking good but what is all the excess aluminum for?
That is for when my esc goes on it. I have to mount receiver to with a bec.I may see what I can mount down low. It is going to have plenty of batteries down there. :D
what motor is that?
It is a nemisis 14 L. I want to get a xl to go on it. I had the motor laying around. Should do good with 16 cells on it.
coolhandcountry,
That upper deck idea is pretty cool. :) I may have to try something like that on mine this winter. |
Be careful with that motor mount! It may bend easily, like the 1/8" thick aluminum motor plate I originally had on my buggy (a long time ago).
yeah.. My 1/8" use to bend and flex too when I land... but ever since I used the 1/4" angle piece.. smooth as silk...
I going to bend a L and run it the back. It will have two motor mouns on it when done. Thanks though. As it get closer to finishing I have to post the last pic and get a video of it.

I got my new body painted up. I still need to finish the rest.
There it is!!!!
That was what you are working on right?! :) |
No not really. I was working on my maxx. :D I worked on that earlier.
nice body, though the wing doesnt match the body
Nice one, Leroy. Now get it moving!
nbcaz, on a 8th scale buggy you never have to worrry about bodies and wings for to long ;) They tend to get replaced often, somehow, can't imagine why :p |
I was thinking of getting a white and paint it sliver. Paint the wheels sliver as well. I don't know yet. I get it running serum soon as i stop working on the others.
If you run a bright wing like this one, you will be able to tell which way your car is going allot better. Very handy imo, and it doesn't look that off, I like bright yellow.
