I've got a 5 foot egg launcher. Spring powered, and fairly accurate. I'll see if I can find it today and take some pics.

I'll hafta build another and try out that orange cleaner stuff, though...sounds promising. |
Most aerosols just need to be help upside-down so that you only inject the propellant. :mdr:

Harispray is really messy and leaves a lot of residue. Not very reliable...
Propane is very clean, almost an ideal fuel for spud guns... No residue and one of the more powerful fuels. I think the best fuel would be a compressed mixture of oxygen and a fuel, but that would be very dangerous... In this case propane and oxygen - 190x mix. I think that is 190x the volume of the chamber. I want to say it's 190psi of propane/oxygen, but I'm not sure. It's a beast. This guy has some machining skills. It can shoot a steel projectile clear through 10mm of steel.:surprised: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/lard...20-t15524.html I may just have to try antimatter...:yipi: |

I would stay away from pure oxygen I have dealt with industrial furnaces that use pure oxygen instead of air as an oxidizer and it is very flammable...and 190 psi is exceeding the PVC capabilities...I have seen using compressed air and it seemed safe enough and was impressive |
I wouldn't compress anything in pvc... The compressed oxygen and propane was in a machined hardened steel chamber. Propane with no oxidizer and no pressure is about the most you can go with pvc.

That larse bloke is nuts- basically built himself an anti-tank cannon and a.... plasma cannon?! of sorts...
|
I forgot this one...
Hydrogen Fused with initial Uranium-235 Fission. Pros: Extremely powerful. Causes potato to vaporize, and Ions cause the formation of "Potato plasma". Yields an expansion rate of around 345,000,000m per second. Cons: To avoid the critical nuclear mass causing the nearest 30 miles to be completely vaporized, it is advised that you have 43 inches of depleted uranium reactor shielding, and a sustained electromagnetic field with a charge of 45 Kw handy. AND this one... Angry Wife chasing spud stealing Husband: Pros: Spud can travel far distances and around corners. Cons: Wife is in much better shape than me! |
