patrick said to me in e-mail that they have less than 1%of total failure!!???for the v2:rules::yes:

You guys have to remember that people who have no problems are not likely to go on the internet looking for info on forums about problems. These polls are NEVER a real indicator of the real size of the problem.

But if all the rcm members contribute (even the good ones), we should see an close indication, or at least the percentage of rcm members that have gotten good/bad ones.

I voted for +1 v2 mmm working, but I have a second one that is took a dump with less than 10 minutes of running if someone wants to add a "failure" to the poll. My working unit has been through weeks of racing w/o any issues.

Thanks!

Added the failure for ya HappyWing. If anyone else has multiple MMMs and have already voted, post the results from the other one(s) and I'll add it to the tally.

Nice one Brian, now the poll can be more accurate..... both for failure and success

slimthelineman 09.03.2008 09:17 PM

i had both my v2's fail, one during calibratin, the other after 10 min.

BrianG 09.03.2008 09:24 PM

OK, to be clear, let me know of any EXTRA MMMs you want me to adjust in the poll. Once I add each person's extra ESCs, I will edit their post simply to state (in the "reason for editing" section) it was done.

slim: I assume you already entered one of your failures, correct?

jayjay283 09.03.2008 09:27 PM

Brian, in post #2 and the poll, I put 1 working V2, I have a 2nd one with 4.5 hours on it still working fine, if you want to add a 2nd working for me to the poll

slimthelineman 09.03.2008 09:37 PM

yes i have

Nah, it's easy to get a percentage, as long as people report that it died.

my v2 went up in flames in less than 5 min. A few wheelies out to the street, then forth of july colored flames before i even made one run.

Funny the fan didn't come on while it was burning, that should have been more than 150deg right ?

killajb 09.04.2008 11:45 PM

My MMM came in today and is working fine. I decided to run it "stock" even though I've placed an order for a BEC that should arrive next week if something happens. As well, my NEU 1515 2.5d hasn't arrived yet either, so I'm using an Align 600L with a Tekno conversion/clutch on 6S. Still have wheelies on demand and way more power than I can use..

slimthelineman 09.05.2008 10:51 PM

got my first monster back today as it was "repaired" U1 resoldered.........
set it up on cc link and plugged it in and turned it on PUFF white smoke.........
this is #3 and i am supposed to get #4 next week
so if anyone is reading thats 3 with 10 minutes total for all three.(one ran other two crapped out when they were turned on)
