There is a coating on the heatsink. When it wears out next to two of the motor wires or the +/- wires, that's a short. Potential flames.

Luciano, you better start ordering some more. You will be getting an influx of buyers shortly :intello::party:.

I'm hoping to receive my 6S today so I can run it as hard as I can this weekend .

Sounds good Lito. I'll see as I'm waiting for more members to post some feedbacks about them. I'll be contacting the factory soon to see if they can do something special for us power hungry guys.

Regards,

Luciano.

hi

i opened up my mmm. and the heatsink is touching the motorplugs exactly like in the pics from lutach. i will obviously not use the esc until i have solved that problem. pretty sure this was one of the major sources of problems with the mmm so far.

bye

You could replace the bullet connectors with wires. But de-soldering those bullets is a major PITA, especially when they touch the HS... been there. Drilling them off is amother option.

I gave up. I thought I ruined my MMM by getting it too hot trying to get the connectors to de-solder. I ended up Dremelling a sliver of the connectors off at the point that they make contact with the heatsink. I then soldered the connectors into the partial connectors. I had about 30 minutes of track time this past weekend with no trouble. I'm also using an Rx battery/regulator and about 8 other MMM mods.

I'm not in a hurry with it. I'm going to sit back and wait until everything is working perfect with the V3. I'll be watching the ones who gets them first and wait for their feedbacks.
