okay i found it, thanks!
i have a few questions through. i want to get 2 of these- http://www.spcracing.com/index.php?productID=59 , are they good bateries? also i was looking through that how to and it said i nned a LBA10 balancer and i looked at it and the LBA10 has charger leads too, so is it a charger and a balancer? if so does that mean that thats all i need to use or does it plug into my charger? if so cant i just use my charger and a Blinky( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXMRZ9&P=FR ) to balance and charge? and also when i run the lipo's in my trucks do i need a LVC since the MM dont have one?? and what do i do with the balancing leads from the battery while im running the truck? sry for so many questions. -Wes |
I belive the mm can be set with a castle link to custom voltage cutoff and set for a 4s lipo???
I would look at a battery that will provied a little more in the amp department. They have a 5200 24c that would be great! Or a 8000 12c (both are pretty inexpensive) |

i started with the same setup as yours, but with a 7xl
1) Your Choice of battery PLug 2) Some 4mm or larger bullet connectors 3) RC Monster Motor clamp (XL size) 4) CCBEC 5) CC Castle Link 6) A 25x25 mm fan helps, but select a gear WITHOUT IT! 7) 5mm 32p gear. I would start at 20 and work your way up to about 24 max Just a heads up, i tried running my NIMH and the batteries fried...had to go lipo...but then again, now im runnig a NEU:lol:...you will soon make the switch:yes: |

Go with the Hyperion lba10 balancer! It's only a balancer, a charge through balancer, so you hook your charger up to it and then the balancer to the lipo.

fma sells a cellpro 10s charger that can charge 2 of the 8000s at once and balance them(up to 10s at 10 amps ). They also make the multipro4 that will balance charge 4s li based cells and do nicad, and nimh and so on. They are great ballincing chargers.
A balanceing charger does a better job than a stand alone |
