That's a shelf queen if I ever saw one. If only you could have a transparent housing on the ESC as well, maybe an LED or two light it and the servos up at night. Very clean without being too bling.

ha! Thanks, but she's no shelf queen. As soon as I get batteries and a charger I'm gonna mess that truck up!:intello:

Any updates? very interested how that center diff works as far as acceleration and braking. Also would like to know what gearing you plan on running? What size is that motor? I am doing a similar build with a hardcore titanium extended nitro chassis. Converting to brushless.

I did the speed calculator and with 44t spur and 12 tooth pinion with a neu 15151y 2200kw on 4s is going to be about 40mph and 65mph on 6s. I wonder if the the pinion being so smal will hurt any thing. With the 44tooth spur I dont have too do any cutting on the chassis or braces. Thanks for the welcome I have been here for a week learning all i can to do this conversion. I am a regular on the ue Supermaxx forum and want to try electrics again with the latest brushless technolgy. George16 is the main reason for this expensive adventure. Thanks lito lol. I have a nice collection of nitro Supermaxxes and wanted to try somthing else.

Welcome.
Hey there RiverMaxx welcome to the RCM forum. I thought that I recognized your sig when I saw your post. Nice to see you making the switch to BL. It can be a lot less work once you do your conversion. No fuels, no starter gear, no glow plugs to deal with, and no tuning to do. Yea Lito is trouble isn't he? You have to watch out for those Navy guys. We hope that you will enjoy hanging out here with the BL gang. There are a few pretty smart people here with tons of good info, and there are also some pretty funny guys as well right lincpimp. Its all in good fun though. I used to spend a lot of time on the UE site, but once they started abandening us and stocks dwindled it was time to move on. That is too bad since the UE gear is some nice stuff. We have a lot of it here. Anyway good luck with your project and have some fun.

Welcome to the dark side Rivermaxx :lol::lol:. I'm glad to see you around. Just don't hesitate to ask any questions. There are a lot of smart and witty guys here.
Are you still planning to use the extended hardcore chassis plate? |

Nothing wrong with having 3x 2s lipos, you will just have to fabricate your own series harness for that setup- diagrams on BrianG's website. Just have to figure a clever way out to mount them really.

yeah i saw the same center diff conversion and recently aquired a 3905 for $150 shipped....definitly going to use that center diff mount but i haven't heard from mike yet as well....im sure he's busy finishing the slipperential which may make rc-monster explode with business :)...literally.....

The slipperential is getting about as legendary as the MMM before it launched. :oh: |

Not to worry guys.
Not to worry guys. MonsterMike/RCM is a man of his word. You have to understand that these things take time and RCM has to run business the right way or lose money like some others we can mention. There has been a lot of time and money spent on the development of the slipperential and we shall see it when Mike is ready. Design, prototype, testing, parts manufacturing, production, patent paperwork, and who knows what else. Its not like baking a cake. It will be a mad rush to get one once they are here, but you can be assured that it will be worth the wait. As for the Maxx center diff he is working on those as well. Mike said that he will try to have some made and out to us soon after New Year. All good things come to those who wait. Whoooosaaahhh. Breeeeathhhh. Inhale, and exhale sloooowwwllllyyyy. 2009 is going to be a GOOD year for sure. Have a great day fellas.

Oh I know, and I'll be one of the first to get in line for when it comes out...but you gotta agree with me that it's been quite a wait. Gonna be awesome when it gets here though.
