I don't care what Billy has said regarding the legality of what happened, what he did was wrong morally. He mislead buyers into thinking they were buying top of the line UE stuff, and even if the parts he sold were 7075 AL, there is a lot more that goes into the strength of a product that the material choice. It is quite obvious from the pictures shown on this thread that these pieces were a far cry from the quality machining that UE is known for, and that will affect strength. If Billy makes good on his guarantee then it is a step in the right direction for him, I however would not buy from him in the future knowing know about his apparent lack of moral values and trustworthiness.

Check his feedback to find out where the setbacks came from: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...eedbackAsBuyer Anyway, like I said over at UE, I'll only believe what Robin has to say after seeing parts being made. He had same the same thing the past 2-3 years and nothing came out of it. Hopefully this fiasco would be enough for him to swallow his pride and re-establish his business dealings with a capable machine shop(if there is still anyone willing to make parts for him):rofl:. |

By the way, I got my money refunded by Scott(billytrucks). |
well thats good to hear about you getting your money back. And thats interesting to here that UE doesn't actually make their own parts, i guess thats where the "engineering" comes in, lol.

OK, I think the point has been made sufficiently clear. I am going to close this thread now as there is no sense in beating a dead horse. If new information is provided, a mod can re-open this thread as necessary.
