I'm not the only one then. I much prefer painting outside to inside, it is much easier for me to mask and get no bleed through outside as well. I lack the manual dexterity to do complex internal masking and end up destroying the masks. :whistle:

Gotta love the one or two tone paint jobs that I can do.

I'll be honest, I suck at painting bodies, just plain suck (I sense and out of context quote coming). I can get one or two tones and that's about it.

I may commission the OP for a body once I find out what shells they are going to release for the Summit. They'd better put out a scale looking body for it too, or, or, or, I don't know, but something.

It'll be my shelf body.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again....To me it is kind of an honor to the body to take it out and beat it up. Even on a nice paint job. That is what they were made for, and once mine are thrashed, they make great garage wall decor. I think team3six should be honored to have one of his nice works used hard. Maybe he can tell us what he thinks, but if I were him, I would feel great to see one that I worked hard on, used and bashed hard. That I way I knew someone enjoyed it. I will be ordering one at some point, and will use it with pride. No shelf queens for me.

Yeah, I am a one tone guy myself for lexan bodies, and even though I own an airbrush... I still use tamiya spray paint. I tried some of the automotive basecoat that I use at the shop... It did not stick very well, but i should have used some bulldog adhesion promoter before I shot the color on it. I am also not too fond of taping the inside of the body, but I am good with a rozor blade so the masking is not too bad. I need some more practice that is for sure. If only rtr bodies were twice as thick, that would be perfect for me!
