I played around with the wheel size, wheelbase, and suspension and managed 15/15 in 10 sec. (larger wheels work better IMO).

I am able to score around %75% with 15/15, and anybody can score 100 if they try hard enough, so I thought of creating something a little different... It doesnt carry any coconuts, but it was one of my fastest carts running the map...

It takes over 3 minutes to complete the course. It gets 15/15 with 0% efficiency. It is, however, badass.

rawfuls 03.29.2009 01:09 AM

Gah, how do you guys get the wheel sizes all the same size!?

Metallover 03.29.2009 01:23 AM

I used the grid in the background.

Well the internet speed definatley makes a huge difference in your times.. I built the same cart that would give me 15/15 in around 38 seconds at home with verizon DSL(~765kbps down), and at work (T1 connection, buku speed) and I was able to get 14 seconds, which is the slowest 100% efficiency time

I'm not sure its the internet speed but the computer speed. My computer is slow and my internet is pretty fast. I just checked it and it's 3.12mbps.

I will second that, we had our power go out for an hour last night and I was still able to play the game without an internet connection. I am using an Acer laptop and it's not the quickest unit around

i dont know... it wouldnt make much sense, but I was on the same computer at home and work. i brought it with me and it was faster. I assume it factors in to the equation, but its not the whole reason... All that matters i that if I want a high score, design at home, then race at work!

Metallover 03.29.2009 10:29 PM

how many applications were running in each situation? I think free memory is the reason. My computer has 512mb of memory and it's always slow as crap and I'll never get under 30 seconds...
