these are great packs i just got 2 4s1p 25c 5000mah packs, tried one out yesterday in my e-maxx with hacker c-50 maxx motor in the sand and dunes, the power from this combo was sweet, first gear was semi manageable but second was a hand full, with only rear paddle tires, then the tranny locked up

Yea Zippys are the best for the price, got 4 3s 5k 20c packs and run them in parralel on my revo with a CC/neu 2650, the truck will still wheely if I give it full throtle from 35% throtle on any terrain, haven't really clocked how long the packs last before lvc tho, usually end up drive the car in bursts, 5 mins here 20 there another 5min a day or two later.

5s Zippys
I've now got three Zippy Flightmax 5s 5000 packs (the new 30c ones). I'm very happy with the performance and the price. One thing I've noticed though, they're consistently taking 4500-4600 mah of charge. Does this make them over-rated?

I think its all about ur charger, my 610 charges both to around 4750-5200.

Ok, tell me this one, my lvc is set for 3.0v so my 5s pack runs down to 15v right? So, when I connect my Hyperion charger why does it trickle-charge up to 18v and then kick in to full charge?

Wouldnt even like to guess- its a box of tricks thats does its own thing
Bear in mind though that any battery wont drain down right to 0 mah capacity - you would need to hit 0 volts nearly for that to happen I believe, so once the lvc kicks in at ~3.0v theres still gonna be a bit of capacity left in there. |
