i definately wont be able to afford anthing like that anytime soon but it would be neat to have one.
when the motor goes out in my moms car i will make sure we put a few of those motors in it. j/k

squeeforever 02.05.2006 04:47 PM

i was thinking of one for a e-revo but it would require a 10mm pinion.

i dont think anyone makes a pinion that size and it would probably have to much power for an e-revo

squeeforever 02.05.2006 05:37 PM

yup, probably be ok with 1/8th gears and cvds, ect. then again nobody nows unless somebody tries....

Chase023 02.06.2006 06:03 AM

Yup that is a Bolido. The motor is designed specifically for a 1/5 scale car.

If i am not mistaken that is a 10 pole motor. So you are limited by the esc more than on the 3060.

Chase023 02.06.2006 05:30 PM

The 10 Pole Bolido might be limited as you put it but for a 1/5 scale car you don't really need high RPMs (ask any of the people who run 1/5 scale cars). The Bolido is very unique as plettenberg put it when I asked them to compare with other motors out there.

But the 30XX series were really designed for high output large boats for speed especially for SAW and etc. You can even see two ports or holes to plug in for the water cooling if I am not mistaken.
