Yup that is a Bolido. The motor is designed specifically for a 1/5 scale car.

The 10 Pole Bolido might be limited as you put it but for a 1/5 scale car you don't really need high RPMs (ask any of the people who run 1/5 scale cars). The Bolido is very unique as plettenberg put it when I asked them to compare with other motors out there.
But the 30XX series were really designed for high output large boats for speed especially for SAW and etc. You can even see two ports or holes to plug in for the water cooling if I am not mistaken. |
