The blades self-destruct before ejection (explosive bolts).

And to those whose parents clean up after them: I say "too bad". As a parent myself, I figure it's my house, my payment, my rules. If it's not clean enough to my standards, it gets "taken care of" in a manner of my choosing depending on how many times I had to ask them to clean it up themselves. And if that's not good enough, the house has two exit doors, both freely available.

Brian ..I can relate. I have a 10yr. old that is a tad messy. Well, she "lost" a few things recently and since then, she has been much better.

As far as my rc space goes....it is off limits and she knows it.

Yeah, I'd flip if someone got into my workspace. I even get p.o.'d when I drop somthing off a high shelf into a lower pile of parts. Sans the fact that it is in the master bedroom.

Everyone knows #333 is a Board Stretcher.

My RC stuff is a mess, but my parents wont know... I got this down to a science. I have the airconditioning vent blocked in my room, so it gets stuffy with no air circulation(don't worry, ill febreeze it before company comes.) Since itll gag my parents to come in, they just pop their head in the door. All my RC stuff is crowded in the areas of my room that cannot be seen directly from the door! I just have to keep half a room clean and noone ever knows!

brushlessboy16 06.20.2009 11:46 AM

Thats the way to do it mike- My parents cant clean my area in the shop- if they were to loose stuff- half of it would be my dads tools so they stay away.

BL_RV0 06.20.2009 12:18 PM

You guys are lucky... My room is only 13x11 so I don't have that option.

I used to work on the floor, then rc's got kicked out of my room to the garage, then we built our shop out back and thats where i got moved too, pretty cool though. i took over half of the shop with rc stuff:lol:

BL_RV0 06.20.2009 12:27 PM

Nice. I want to move my rc stuff to my dads where we have a metal shop, woodshop, autoshop and basically every tool you can think of except a lathe. Only problem is my stuff wouldn't be inside as the metalshop only has 3 walls right now.

rawfuls 06.20.2009 02:25 PM

My room is probably 13x11 as well, but I have a corner for RC stuff, and the rest, is school, and nonsense.

BL_RV0 06.20.2009 02:36 PM

I have my computer/school desk, bed, bedside table, rc shelving, airsoft shelving and 24x60 workbench.

emaxxnitro 06.20.2009 02:40 PM

i have a 15x15 shed in my back yard but i only use it in the winter. because im too cheap to buy a a/c for it. in the summer i work on the dining room table. ( we never eat there.) so i have to go clean it up before the party 2night
