No problem. The shipping cost is actually quite low - if you securely wrap it in some bouble wrap, you could send it to them in a $5 USPS global priority mail envolope. I use these for importing kit from the US all the time. They're pretty quick (average 5-6 days) as well. Just remeber to mark customs correctly or it'll get stuck there, a $20 value and "return for repair" as a description works nicely for me.

thats not as bad as i thought. how often do they have these updates, and how much of a difference do they make?

would a receiver pack be necessary running a 380c 6l and mtroniks genesis pro? also, i know smaller tires would be better than stock, but would it be better to go with maxx sized wheels and smaller tires, like mikes pede?

MetalMan 02.15.2006 11:50 PM

No RX pack is necessary with the Genesis Pro - that's one nice thing about it.

You can use small Maxx tires like the Panther Komodo tires (the ones that Mike uses).

Software updates come every few months..in the last 10 months its gone from V1.03 to V1.07B so not that regular..

Like MetalMan suggests, bigger wheels with small tyres would work well, as would stock sized tyres like Mashers. If you try maxx sized rims you do need to use RPM stablemaxx ones.

my brother use to use komodo tires on his emaxx. i might get the maxx size adapters and try those, but i think it makes more sense to just get smaller tires on 2.2 inch wheels.

i will post pics of my setup soon. i have the stampede-to-maxx wheel adapters, proline maxx offset dish wheels, panther komodos and s-maxx tires.

the maxx panther komodos are actually almost the same diameter as the 2.2 m2k's.

i know their about the same diameter. all im wondering is if theres any reason other than ground clearance, why the heavier maxx wheels would be better than 2.2 stadium truck tires.

joostin420 02.17.2006 03:51 PM

not sure how much heavier they really are.

i think it would equal out in the end because the 2.2 m2k's are heavier than the maxx size komodos.

my # 1 factor in going to maxx wheels tires is that the 2.2 pin tires are tiny - i would rather gear down than gear up.
