Check out the back brace, it has a hole in the middle just for that :)

The hole has a Diameter of 16mm, do you think that that will be enough to clear the bearing?

its PLENTY big enough. the bearings are only like 8mm.

I said that before we saw the brace.i'd make it smaller, just a simple bar off centre below the bearing would leave more room for the motor wires on the Fiegaos/bks.

I kind of like how it looks right now.. I'll think about it though.. :)

I know what you mean,it looks cool as is.the brace part would mostly only get used with the pressed end motors though. It looks great BTW,how many you thinking of making?

Im interested in one if you plan on mass producing it.

The original plan was just to make one for myself.. I could probably make 4 on a 12x12" piece of 1/4" aluminum. The cost to cut 1 vs cost to cut 4 would be extremely similar so why not...

So, I may do an initial run of 2-4.. Sell a couple at my cost as "testers" to make sure everything works good... Then if they are good an there is still a demand make a few more.

fiero_silva 03.15.2006 12:05 AM

Since there is some interest, I'm going to make an un-official "testers" list of people interested.. I'm going to limit this list to 3. If there are more than 3 people interested they will be selected by what they are running for RCs ect..

1. mothman
2.
3.
4. ME

This is an un-offical list. You adding your name to the list says that you are prepared to pay the cost for a tester version if I decide to make more than one. I estimate prices to be between $30-40 for testers.. Maybe less, maybe more it will come down to what it costs me.

Also, just an FYI right now I am about 1.5 months away from completing my term at school, so it's basically the most loaded time of the year. I have very little free time, so things like this only happen during my free time.. I may have them done in a week, maybe a month. It will depend on my free time.

Thanks!
