love that site.

i highly, highly recommend a good sim like phoenix. it's only a matter of time before they have the sr as a model you can fly available as a free download (they have almost all the eflite birds - copters and planes). i can honestly say i've saved thousands in broken parts by flying the b400 and 600e on there, rather than real life experience.

yeah...at least try to fly it indoors like a big warehouse or app bay where you have tons of room!

Thanks for the suggestion. I ran out and bought Phoenix after reading your post. I am highly impressed! Good times.

no problem - happy to help. it's great, right? there are also extra environments you can download for free here. they're pretty cool - i like flying in the hanger. i use it a lot, but honestly i need to discipline myself to use the sim at least an hour a day. spring is coming, and i'm anxious to get my birds outdoors!

sorry to see you're giving up on your sr, freezebyte. heli's do take a lot (lot) of patience. they're probably the hardest r/c i've ever encountered. that's why i have my 4x4 slash and xt8.... instant gratification, lol.

Damn freezebyte, you have the patience of a housefly! I bet my 3 year old could stand still longer than you........

Heli's take patience but they payoff big in the long run. Why not invest in a flight sim were it doesn't matter how many times you crash, hit reset and fly again. Get good on that and the new heli will be cake.
