Poor business practices, so even if the product fails, good luck with his lack of customer service. It's also likely that is a 2-pole motor. As stated, I wouldn't put a 2-pole in a 1/5 scale unless it were a Lehner.

my experience with kershaw isn't that great either.

Is this a very very late April fools joke?

Nah.

Nay, it was nuz69 on page one that identified the motor as being the Orion, I just googled it and found a link.

Wow a 1/5 scale motor for $159.00!

I like this one.
"Feigao 580L Brushless Motor
For the BIGGEST, most powerful motor on the block, try bolting this motor in place. MUCH more power than the Castle motor".

Technically speaking, this is true. A Castle motor could mean Castle's 1/10 scale motors. :rules:

pshhh they wish. maybe a cm 28 1/18th scale..

suicideneil 05.10.2010 09:32 PM

Yeah. JUst as an FYI for anyone who doesnt know- the feigao 580 motors are absolute junk, as tested by atleast a couple RC-M members already. Neu, Plett, Lehner and Castle are the only guys with viable 1/5 inrunners I know about...

Now, hold on there. I bet that is the most powerful motor on the block.... after all, LOTS of power is generated when they blow.

Power rating: 15,000W*

* For about 1 second when the phases short out until the ESC blows too.

You always gotta read the fine print!
