It really all melts down to preferance, IMO a revo with RD Racing parts, 1/8 scale diffs, and a center diff will be pretty darn close to a Supermaxx, but of course wont be AS blingy :)
|
If the revo is so good. Why does mike race the gmaxx?
Not saying the revo is not good. People act like the emaxx is crap some times. I think both are nice. It takes some setup to get them both right. Maybe less money for revo but both can whoop tail. |
Nothing against the maxx, i just like on-board suspension, is all. Still if i were to choose over a supermaxx or a hopped up revo, i dont know if i would make up my mind!

yabba dabbba doooo. both rock.

Absolutely! The REVO is the best truck "out of the box" but a highly modified Maxx can/will/does kick ass. On a track with brushless, Gmaxx chassis, and UE Racer-X suspension & VBS/8spyder diffs............. VERY tought to beat. There have been a number of 1/8 buggy owners crying in there beer after getting spanked by that combo! |
What parts if any need to be replaced on the revo when racing and mild bashing is there any parts that seem to always find there way breaking. Or are there some parts that need to b replaced to give notable better performance with a small part (for example like steering parts). (BTW I am talking about the E-Revo Kit from RC monster priced at $595)
