i know you worked on it for some time, getting any further?

I can build them no problem. It is the factories that I am still wrestling with. They don't understand winding diagrams (or english for that matter), and there is a 1/3 chance that they can still wind it right but place the sensors wrong. The other 2/3 chance is basically CW and CCW rotation with a bit of phase retermination.

do you ever not whine about stuff? if it cost too much for you, then dont play.

X2

I think belted tires are a necessity now days with the higher speeds cars/trucks can reach with brushless motors. Plus i think it would help out with wheel bearing and suspension life. Ever watch a suspension arm flex back and forth when a tire expands and gets further and further out of ballance?

If nobody whined, nothing in the world would get improved or change.

Well most of us are whining then. because belted tires would be the single most significant next step for RC since BL/Lithium.

Looks promising, unfortunately for us bashers that's not quite 'it'.
I think something like Michelin's "Tweel" scaled down might be a much better solution:

Thats worth quoting for sure.

Belted tires will most likely change the R/C world...
