I can build them no problem. It is the factories that I am still wrestling with. They don't understand winding diagrams (or english for that matter), and there is a 1/3 chance that they can still wind it right but place the sensors wrong. The other 2/3 chance is basically CW and CCW rotation with a bit of phase retermination.

I think belted tires are a necessity now days with the higher speeds cars/trucks can reach with brushless motors. Plus i think it would help out with wheel bearing and suspension life. Ever watch a suspension arm flex back and forth when a tire expands and gets further and further out of ballance? |

I think something like Michelin's "Tweel" scaled down might be a much better solution: |
