I have an LX1e and I think its quite a capable buggy both on road and off. It has a little more bump steer through the suspension travel than I'd like, but mine is also raised up as much as possible. Once it sags to ride height or you lower it down a bit, its not an issue. The GTP's pivot ball suspension is probably a little better in the corners, but for straight line I doubt you'd notice much difference. I've found it durable too. I broke a front hub carrier and steering bellcrank, which I attribute mostly to the 20 degree weather and 35+ mph impact speed.
Don't you have (or had) an extended chassis Raze you were using for speed runs?
