How did you wire your batteries up newuser? If you wired them parrellal you was only running 7cell voltage. It you wire in series that thing is going to wake up a whole lot. Did you ever get the pics to work?

hey sylvester, what count cells and what type are you running on your truck? Because I have the same motor/controller set up in my savage and I run 14 cells 3000mah. I get pretty good runtime and awesome speed and torque. I just was curious about your setup.

Glad it helped you out neweuser.

yep, i'm going to probably do the rewiring tonight. I got some help with my radio adjustments and man, it made the difference! Burned my slipper pad though on the side the nut goes on. Probably not tight enough. Coolhand, yes, the pics are on! after an hour and a half!!! LOL

neweuser 04.26.2006 09:12 AM

PS - the system runs smooth. Everything runs real cool after a 10 min run...motor a little warm...but seemed fine...wat to go guys, thans for all the help! Still waiting for my ubec....

sjcrss 04.26.2006 12:43 PM

if the the motor is little warm....pick up one of Mike rc-monster heat sink/clamps or I use a traxxas villian heatsink on my lehner motor and it fits perfectly and helps keep stuff a little cooler. just a suggestion

neweuser 04.26.2006 12:53 PM

Will do, wasn't bad at all but will anyway. I usually run heat sinks....i just got more clutch pads too....3 sets!

coolhandcountry 04.26.2006 02:04 PM

I would get the monster heat sink clamp for I have crashed and knocked a motor to pieces. It messed the windings up in the case. The clamp is cheaper than a new motor.

neweuser 04.26.2006 02:23 PM

true. did you look at the pics?

coolhandcountry 04.26.2006 03:45 PM

The pics wouldn't work. I don't kow why. I would like to see it.
