I went with them because of capacity and they aren't really identical packs. They have same C rating but they market them as having lower IR which you would think should improve performance somewhat. Anyway that was in my old Revo. The Savages are way to heavy and demanding for 25C batts. I run normal Turnigy 5K 40C packs and they are excellent for my needs.

the best lipos I used ........ real life cycle of +400 (I tested) and much more hard than the "normal" zippy and turnigy .......... and 10c charge is great :lol:

for me the unic problem is are very long and isnt easy fit in a lot of rcs

pd: I have 12 packs of 3300, 4000, 5000, and 6000 mah .....

Now I have two brand new gens ace 30C 5S 5300mAh and I'm running in them for the first 4 or 5 discharges.

anyone tested the new a-spec nanotech lipos? ...... 20-25% lighter than the "normal" nanotech .... and more cycles of charge

I watched that Hobbyking nanotech vs. TP pack video a few months ago and can tell you that it was completely rigged. They pre discharged that ThunderPower pack to ~30% SOC and plugging the pack in and not seeing the rest voltage just reinforces that theory. Secondly, you notice how they don't even film the TP pack when they say it PUFFS? The voltage would not increase if it were fully charged when heating up, but it would if it was less than 50% SOC.

I wouldn't doubt that ANY pack would puff when discharged that deep, but not even showing it...

The video is a joke, and Nanotechs are garbage.

That 6600 a spec nanotech looks interesting. The power to weight ratio they are claiming is incredible. The super short leads are a great idea.

Any feedback experience on the a-spec lipo dudes? I must decide which 2S lipos do I have to buy for my Xray T3...

I bought 3 A-SPEC 2S 6600 and converted in 2 3s 6600 batts .... this is the result .....

turnigy nanotech 6600 3s 45c .......................593gr............ (1º carga 6730mah)
turnigy nanotech 6000 3s 25c .......................475gr .............(1º carga 5980 mah)
turnigy nanotech 5000 3s 65c ...................... 430gr ............(1º carga 5100 mah)
turnigy nanotech A-SPEC 6600 3s 65c ...........430gr .............(1º carga 7250mah)

The Power to Weight ratio is insane. At 130C its nearly 40kW/kg
That is almost twice the ratio of "MaxPuffs" 150C bateries or GensAce 120C :surprised:

I cant believe this. The highest power to weight ratio battery I found on Wikipedia is 21kW/kg

Another weird thing is that other A-spec batteries are around the same as other brands:

A-spec 6S 5Ah 65-130C = 19.5kW/kg
GensAce 6S 5.3Ah 60-120C = 20kW/kg
MaxAmps 6S 5.45Ah 150C = 23.7kW/kg

at this moment only I spent 2 charges on each batts and the results are great ....... in a 1/8tt of 3900gr rtr and 66kmh top speed ....... +18 min runtime, not puff and a normal temperatures of 40-45cº

this other have a very similar propertys .... 270-280gr without the hardcase .....
